A former “American Idol” contestant is facing a slew of felonies after allegedly having sex with a minor.
According to Superior Court of California, County of Ventura online court records obtained by TMZ, police arrested 45-year-old Randy Madden October 30. He’s facing charges that include:
- Unlawful sexual intercourse
- Anal and genital penetration by a foreign object
- Oral copulation of a person under 18
- Sending harmful matter
- Luring
- Dissuading a witness from reporting a crime
The alleged encounters occurred between July and September, according to court records.
Madden pleaded not guilty to all charges and was released from jail Tuesday, after posting a $100,000 bond.
His next court date has been scheduled for November 13.
Madden appeared as a contestant on the show’s eight season. The judges eliminated him following an audition in Phoenix, according to Mercury News.
