2026 has been a banner year for Gabriella Giudice. Back in January, The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter said goodbye to the U.S. and headed overseas as part of her school’s study abroad program. Gabriella, who is a student at the University of Michigan, shed more light on her experience in a February 19 GRWM (get ready with me) video in which she also answered some frequently asked questions.
Gabriella, the second-eldest of RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice, said she was having a great time living in Europe, but was already planning for her return home.
“I’m an econ major with a business minor,” she said. “I’m gonna be working in audit and assurance. I have an internship this summer, but since I’m 21, my friends and I are renting a house in Belmar (New Jersey), so I’ll work during the week and then be at the shore every weekend. I love the Jersey Shore, so after my experience of a lifetime, I’ll be looking forward to Memorial Day Weekend. Time moves so fast here, so I’m enjoying every minute.”

Teresa Giudice shares update on Gabriella Giudice’s college journey
Teresa spoke about Gabriella’s college/career plans in a 2025 interview with The Daily Dish, revealing her daughter wanted to continue her education after earning her bachelor’s degree.
“Gabriella is doing amazing, and she’s at the University of Michigan,” Teresa said at BravoCon 2025. “Gabriella told me she wants to go… she said, ‘Mommy, I’m sorry to tell you, but you’re gonna have to pay a little bit more for college,’ because she wants to be an accountant.
“So I’m like, ‘OK… no problem,’” Teresa continued. “I’m like, ‘I don’t care about that. I’ll work as hard as I have to, you know?’ I love that she loves to go to school. I know she’s gonna be so successful when she gets older. I mean, now she is older, but when she graduates, embarks on the career journey.”
Will Gabriella Giudice return to New Jersey after graduating from college?

“Even though I love New Jersey, I wanted to live away from home for college,” she explained. “I decided to go to the University of Michigan. It was my dream school, and I am obsessed with it. My favorite thing about Michigan is that you meet people from all over the U.S., so I kind of have friends everywhere, and it’s really fun when we get to visit each other in the summer.”
Gabriella Giudice says she “love[s]” studying abroad
She went on to highlight her favorite sports (soccer and hockey), how she keeps her room neat and tidy, her favorite family tradition (Sunday dinners), and her passion for traveling. Gabriella said she was fortunate that her dad, Joe Giudice, was living in the Bahamas, as it gave her a reason to visit the Caribbean on a regular basis.
Gabriella’s wanderlust undoubtedly played a role in her decision to study abroad.
“I will be living here until April,” she said about Barcelona. “And I love it here.”
Gabriella said one of the biggest differences between New Jersey residents and the Spanish was their day-to-day outlook. She said people in Barcelona seemingly enjoy the work week and weren’t simply living for the weekend.
“Studying abroad is nonstop, but being Type A keeps me sane,” she said.
