It seems there’s another globetrotter in Gael Cameron’s family.
Nearly seven weeks after giving birth to baby No. 1, the Below Deck Mediterranean mom took the infant on his first overseas trip. Gael shared travels in a handful of August 9 Instagram Stories, beginning with a shot of her and Nathan Gallagher at the airport with their adorable son, Kayden.
“Baby kaydens first flight,” Gael captioned the Story.

The Aussie native didn’t specify where she and her family were going, but posted another video of their final layover.
“We’re currently in transit,” she said. “We’ve got one more flight to go.”
Gael then took a moment to offer her fellow new moms a quick travel tip.
“I just thought of it last minute before we left the house,” she began. “When you are traveling with a baby, have your nappy bag… inside that bag, pack another bag that is already packed that just has your changing mat, your nappies, your wipes, one or two sets of changing clothes, blanket, swaddle, gummies, sanitizer… things like that.”

Gael explained that you can place that bag of baby essentials under your flight seat, which is more accessible than the overhead bin.
“So, every time you need to change, you don’t need to go up above,” she said. “I think that’s been my best tip so far.”

Gael and Nathan also shared an amusing video about how to handle a fussy baby during a flight. The clip showed Gael frowning in her window seat before Nathan placed a pacifier in her mouth.
“Parents POV when traveling with a baby,” Nathan wrote in the Story. “…. Secretly put the dummy in to get her to shut up.”

Days after Kayden’s first flight, Gael returned to Instagram to post a sweet update on the bundle of joy. She uploaded a photo of the baby sound asleep while wrapped in a white-and-blue polka dot blanket.
“When you finally get him to sleep somewhere that’s not your chest,” she captioned the photo.

On Friday, August 15, Gael hopped on Instagram to share another exciting “first” for her and Nathan’s son.
“First day by the ocean,” she captioned a photo.
Gael returned to the platform a few minutes later, suggesting the ocean might’ve been a little much for Kayden.
“We might just start with the pool,” she wrote.
Gael Cameron reveals her expectations for motherhood
Gael and Nathan announced their baby news back in March, nearly two years after meeting on Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9. Gael spoke about her pregnancy journey in an interview with People magazine, admitting she was facing a mix of emotions as she approached her due date.
“I think I’m both excited and nervous,” she told the outlet. “It’s such a huge new chapter. There’s so much we don’t know yet, but we’re so excited to grow through it all. The thought of sharing our world with our new little best friend just fills our hearts.”
