Below Deck Mediterranean’s Gael Cameron and Nathan Gallagher have taken a major step in their relationship.
The Australian yachtie shared several Instagram Stories from a “super exciting day” shared with the Irish Season 10 boatswain and their 4-month-old son, Kayden Cameron-Gallagher. From the passenger’s seat of a car for the selfie-style video, Gael giddily revealed, “Today, I settled my first property!”
Nathan, who sat in the driver’s seat for the post, joined her in cheering over the announcement with baby Kayden awake in the backseat, as seen in a rear-seat mirror.
Gael was an hour too early to get the keys, adding they had “absolutely nothing” as far as furniture went. She said they planned to sleep on a mattress on the floor, to which Nathan lightheartedly said, “We are not.”
Continued Gael, “But, here we go! New adventure. I’m now going to have to look for coloring and plates and stuff that we haven’t really had to look for for a very long time.”
The couple was all smiles and cheers in a follow-up video when they attempted some late-night shopping with their son on Gael’s hip. They were “unsuccessful” in getting a couch, and failed to put a bed frame together because they “left the screwdriver at [Gael’s] parents’ house.” What’s more, Gael “forgot the pillows” for the mattress on the floor.
Thankfully, Kayden was “equipped” with his cot, the parents laughed. “But, you know what? It’s a beautiful night, and we’re happy,” continued Gael.

On the Oct. 6 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Nathan was asked where he and Gael planned to raise Kayden. Said Nathan, “F–k if I know, on a flight? On a flight around the world, I would say. We’re going to explore the world together with our new best friend, so we don’t know yet.”

In the same WWHL episode, the Irishman said he’d recently worked as a captain in Gael’s hometown of Sydney, Australia. “Gael is going to go to work,” he revealed. “So I might be a stay-at-home dad for a minute.”

Nathan and Gael were shipmates during Below Deck Mediterranean’s Season 9, but living on different continents and other issues factored into them eventually calling it quits. Gael also once stated Nathan had “a lot of emotional maturing to do.”

However, they announced a reconciliation in September 2024 and confirmed they were expecting a baby in April, just a couple of months ahead of their only child’s birth.
But, before the couple would get back together, Nathan resumed his playboy ways with others on Below Deck Med Season 10. His flirty exchanges with newcomer Kizzi Kitchener are just starting to heat up, and audiences will see an emotional Gael appearing later on, as seen in the Season 10 trailer.
All said, fans might expect to see their reconciliation down the line, as Nathan teased in the aforementioned WWHL episode.
“I guess you’re just going to have to watch this season to find out, but there was a lot of unresolved feelings, I would say, between me and Gael, and she stole my heart,” Nathan said. “So I just had to speak my mind again and get it back on.”
