Galyna Tells All on Steven McBee Sr. Relationship to Producer

The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys viewers have already witnessed the intense aftermath of Galyna Saltkovska’s split from Steven McBee Sr. after he quickly moved on with her former friend Masha. But now, she’s taking a look back to tell all about the relationship itself and explain why the breakup was so painful.

As seen on The McBee Dynasty Season 2, Episode 4, Steven McBee Jr. had grown concerned about the McBee Farm & Cattle Co. CFO when he suspected that she was “drunk” on the job. After sending brothers Cole McBee and Jesse McBee to search her office for evidence of alcohol, he sat Galyna down for a heart to heart.

“I love you and I care about you, and I want to help,” he told her. “But that is not OK.”

Galyna’s response? “Nothing is OK. All of it is not OK,” she said, admitting that she felt “like a piece of garbage” amid his father’s infidelity with Masha. “Nobody even knows remotely what I went through. You guys don’t know what your dad told me.”

She elaborated in a confessional, “He would make it sound just so right. … I thought we were going to be, you know, spending the rest of our lives together. We were building a house together. I trusted him with everything. And I am beyond heartbroken.”

As Galyna shared with a producer, “Because of that, I drink some wine just to relax my feelings.”

How Steven McBee Jr. reacted to Galyna Saltkovska’s comments about his father

Recognizing Galyna’s pain, Steven Jr. said, “I love him as a dad. As a husband, as a boyfriend, that’s the biggest piece of garbage you could ever have. Like, this is his m.o.”

As he further explained in a confessional: “I came into this conversation pissed off, but as I’m looking at her and I’m seeing the pain in her eyes, I understand that she’s a human being and she’s been going through a lot over the last few months. And I know how good of a person she is and how productive and how valuable she is to our companies.”

Steven Jr. advised Galyna, however, that “the alcohol is not going to help,” comparing it to “a Band-Aid on a f–kin’ bullet hole.”

After she acknowledged that “something has to change,” he replied, “Well, yeah, it’s gotta f–kin’ change. This is not OK. Promise me you will not do that again.”

“Yes, I promise,” Galyna responded.

Later, Steven Jr. and Jesse got Galyna to agree to take a drive with them, not revealing until they were already en route to their father’s home that the purpose was for her to have a conversation with Masha.

“Whatever it is you’ve got to say to her, we’re gonna say it today, and tomorrow’s gonna be the first day of us moving forward and putting that s–t behind us,” Steven Jr. told his unwitting backseat passenger.

After giving Galyna some advice on how to peacefully navigate the conversation, he added in a confessional, “Galyna owns part of the companies and she’s the most important person in our company. And more than anything, I want to be there to help her and support her and get her through this.” 

Galyna and Masha coming face to face amid their feud went about as well as you’d expect, though, even with some light mediation from Steven Jr., Cole, and a football helmet-wearing Jesse.

When Cole attempted to point out that Masha was the person their father wanted living at the lodge and they just needed to “move on from the situation,” Steven Jr. interjected, “We’re speaking for someone who ain’t even here.”

As far as Galyna was concerned though, “It’s not even about your dad anymore, at this point. It’s about the snake.”

Ultimately, Steven Jr. couldn’t quite figure out why he thought the sitdown would be “a good idea,” realizing, “This is not gonna end well.”

As he told Galyna and Masha, “I’m so damn tired of dealing with relationships that are not mine in a business where we are struggling every single day to make it. All I want is for Galyna to be able to focus on her life and the businesses. I don’t know what the answer is here. All I know is I’m tired of dealing with it.” 

Galyna, for her part, insisted that she would not let the drama affect her work anymore, and they left it at that.
