Fans wanting a friendship update about The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alums Garcelle Beauvais and Denise Richards need not look any further.
Garcelle appeared on the Oct. 23 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, giving an update about her former 90210 castmate in light of the new miniseries that documents the turbulent life of Denise’s ex-husband and the father of her two daughters, famed Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen.
“I sent her a text just saying, ‘I love you and I support you,’” Garcelle told Andy Cohen. “It was really tough to watch.”
Andy specifically referred to a moment in the two-part series in which Denise recollected visiting Sheen’s home at the request of concerned coworkers at the height of his addiction struggles. “By the way, I came away from that with so much respect for Denise,” Andy said. “I thought she was so good.”
“She has taken the high road in so many ways,” Garcelle agreed.

Garcelle and Denise have been friends for a very long time, with Denise introducing Garcelle to the RHOBH cast in Season 10. From bonding over their acting careers to meeting up when their busy schedules allow, they’ve always had lots of love for one another.
When Denise — a full-time Housewife on Seasons 9 and 10 — returned in Season 13 for a cameo, Garcelle welcomed her with open arms. Ahead of the momentous occasion, Garcelle teased to BET that she was “proud” of how Denise came to RHOBH with her A-game.
“Denise was great to come in because she’s already familiar with the ladies — she understands the dynamics and has some crosses to bear,” Garcelle said. “She held on to a couple of things she wanted to get off her chest, which she did, and I’m proud of her for it.”
