Police are looking for a Georgia man who failed to show up to meet US Navy recruiters to begin boot camp earlier this week.
Darius Burden is described as 6 feet tall and about 171 pounds with short black hair and brown eyes.
Burden’s family reported they were contacted by the recruiter when he didn’t appear at the appointment, according to Sandy Springs Police.
Police said they found Burden’s vehicle in a parking deck on Roswell Road and his cell phone and wallet in the vehicle. He has not been heard from since he left his apartment Wednesday at about 3 p.m.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. J.L. Pearson at 770-551-6939 or via email.
