A Georgia man who’s been missing since the middle of November has been found.
Jordan Kustas, 23, stopped communication with his family since at least the middle of November. That’s when his mother says she received a text message from an unknown phone number claiming to be from her son, according to 11Alive.
But on Saturday, Jordan’s sister, Paige Harrison, posted to Facebook that Jordan and his golden doodle dog, Brooks, had been found.
“12/30: JORDAN AND BROOKS HAVE BEEN FOUND SAFE! We cannot thank each of you enough for your absolutely overwhelming support and compassion during this time. Thank you thank you thank you,” the Facebook post reads.
The social media post did not say how Jordan was found or the circumstances leading to the disappearance.
Lara Harrison, Jordan’s mother, told police the last recorded activity on her son’s phone was dated November 28. His vehicle, a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, was last seen on traffic cameras December 1 on Brookhaven Drive in Atlanta.
Jordan, a graduate of Auburn University, reportedly has a gambling problem and has been facing financial pressures, according to WSB-TV. He owed money to a family friend and past due rent to a roommate for an apartment in Buckhead, an Atlanta neighborhood.
On December 27, Paige posted to Facebook that the family had filed a missing person report but that police could not do much because Jordan is an adult.
“We have filed a missing person report, but unfortunately due to his age, not much can be done. We are asking friends to please share in hopes this gets to Atlanta — to anyone that may have seen or heard from him lately. Anything helps. At this point, we just want to know that he is okay,” Paige wrote.
