Georgia McCann Shares Dating Update After Omar Zaki Split

Despite her “messy” breakup last year, Georgia McCann didn’t give up on the dating scene.

The Next Gen NYC cast member confirmed this during a red-carpet interview with BravoTV.com on August 12, roughly eight months after she and crypto-trader Omar Zaki called it quits. While speaking to the outlet, Georgia revealed she and her ex hadn’t really communicated since their dramatic split, but did come into contact “once.”

“It was pretty chill,” she recalled about the Omar encounter. “But I’m good.”

Georgia said she was already dating someone new at the time of the run-in, but remained relatively tight-lipped about that relationship.

“I was seeing someone else; it was really nice,” she told BravoTV.com before suggesting she was now single. “But yeah, I’m just kind of focusing on myself right now.”

Georgia made similar comments during a July interview with The Daily Dish, admitting her dating experience had “been interesting.” She said she was previously seeing “another crypto guy” who wanted to travel the world with her; however, the Manhattan native chose to end that romance in the interest of expanding her career.

“I ultimately decided to not pursue this relationship and stay in New York to focus on my career,” she said.

Georgia McCann shares an update on her Channel 1 business

Speaking of careers, Georgia shared a few updates on her professional life and the future of Channel 1, an underground events company she runs with Daniela Miles.

“There’s so much,” she said when asked about her upcoming career moves. “So, next on the gamut is world domination. I am starting a new company, and Channel 1 business is booming. We’re going to do a big Channel 1 party sometime in the fall, and then a couple of other surprises, as well. But, yeah, we’re just focusing on world domination at this point and nothing else.”

How Georgia McCann’s breakup affected her Club Club venture

Georgia’s breakup with Omar was addressed in the Next Gen NYC Season 1 finale, shortly after she and her ex-live-in beau got into a fight while vacationing in Singapore.

“Shocking turn of events: Charlie [Zakkour] and I are roommates,” Georgia said in the July 22 episode. “[Omar] had his assistant pack up my belongings, and my stuff was packed and outside of Charlie’s apartment before I even got back to the US. I was still in Singapore.”

Georgia said the breakup was extra complicated, as Omar was also going to invest in her nightclub/bowling alley concept, Club Club.

“The breakup with Omar was logistically rough because we were living together and the end was quite messy,” she previously told The Daily Dish. “I’m doing well now and focusing on my dream life and not [living] vicariously through someone else.

“There was some drama with that once the breakup with Omar happened; it’s a long story,” she continued. “I have the renders that are solely based on my creative direction and [the Club Club] ethos that look fabulous — the concept was based on my experience!”
