Georgia McCann Shares Life Update Post-Breakup & Next Gen NYC Finale

Georgia McCann is living it up after her breakup! The Next Gen NYC cast member had a tumultuous end to Season 1, breaking up with her crypto-trading boyfriend, Omar, in Singapore. However, Georgia’s recent Instagram activity makes it clear that the savvy entrepreneur loves being her single self.

On July 28, Georgia took to Instagram to give followers an inside look at her post-Next Gen NYC Season 1 life. The photo carousel, captioned “boredom & joy” featured a snap of the party curator posing in an elevator, rocking a short romper and lavender ballet flats. The post also included photos of her friends running through a field and one of Georgia posing in front of vibrant green grass and a clear blue sky.

One of Georgia’s Next Gen NYC castmates, Ava Dash, hyped her up in the comments. “loving u,” she wrote under the post.

Georgia then celebrated her fellow castmate Brooks Marks’ birthday with a thoughtful Instagram story post featuring a snap of the two NYC residents sharing a sweet hug. “Happy birthday, I adore u [Brooks Marks],” she wrote on the flick.

Inside Georgia McCann’s relationship with Omar on Next Gen NYC

Georgia’s now ex-boyfriend was introduced as her romantic and business partner in Season 1, Episode 4 of Next Gen NYC. According to the native New Yorker, her suit-wearing beau was interested in opening a “physical space,” making him the perfect candidate to invest in “Club Club,” Georgia’s bowling alley-meets-nightclub concept.

In the Season 1 finale, Georgia announced that she and Omar had decided to be exclusive before sharing that they moved in together. However, the episode took a drastic turn when Georgia announced that they had broken up during their Christmas vacation in Singapore.

Georgia McCann’s breakup with Omar

When Georgia returned to NYC, she discovered that Omar had taken the liberty of moving her out of his apartment and into her fellow castmate’s digs.  “Shocking turn of events: Charlie [Zakkour] and I are roommates,” Georgia explained during the episode. “[Omar] had his assistant pack up my belongings, and my stuff was packed and outside of Charlie’s apartment before I even got back to the US. I was still in Singapore.”

Georgia McCann sheds light on her split with Omar

In an exclusive interview with The Daily Dish, Georgia shared more details on what really went down between her and Omar.

“The breakup with Omar was logistically rough because we were living together and the end was quite messy,” she shared. “I’m doing well now and focusing on my dream life and not [living] vicariously through someone else.”

To make matters worse, their breakup was more than personal. As “business partners” Omar planned to support Georgia’s vision for “Club Club.” Unfortunately, those plans fell through following their split, and Omar, according to Georgia’s TikTok, cut her off financially.

Although plans for “Club Club” have been tabled for now, Georgia is still very proud of her concept.

“There was some drama with that once the breakup with Omar happened; it’s a long story,” Georgia said. “I have the renders that are solely based on my creative direction and club ethos that look fabulous — the concept was based on my experience!”
