Gia Giudice is spilling the holiday tea on her family’s reunion with the Gorgas.
In case you missed it, the Next Gen NYC cast member spent Christmas Eve at the home of her uncle Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga. The celebration took place more than a month after The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple ended their years-long estrangement from Gia’s mom, Teresa Giudice, and her second husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Fans got a glimpse at the repaired relationship during BravoCon 2025, when the couples were seen hugging it out at a meet-and-greet.
Gia Giudice on how Teresa Giudice & Joe Gorga made amends
Gia shed more light on the reunion in the December 26 episode of Jeff Lewis’ SiriusXM radio show, confirming it was her mom who initiated the reconciliation.
“They didn’t even make their conversations public or anything like that,” Gia said, adding that her mom and uncle Joe initially met up at their parents’ gravesite. “They met alone at the cemetery first. It was just them at first, just my mom and her brother. After that conversation went really well, they were like, ‘OK, now it’s time to have a conversation, us four.’”

Gia said her stepdad, Louie, and aunt Melissa then joined the conversation at a nearby park. Although she didn’t provide details on what was said, Gia told Jeff that the conversation went really well — so much so that the couples decided to continue their discussion at a local restaurant.
“From there, they went to Willow & Whisk to eat,” she continued. “It’s a very popular brunch spot in Bergen County… People took pictures of them, and that’s kind of how [news of the reconciliation] got out. They were like, ‘OK, whatever. We can’t hide forever.’”
Gia said the first conversation went down after she and her mom filmed Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and after their joint interview with Jeff back in September.
“From there, there was just a lot of communication,” Gia continued, “just talking every day and just always maintaining the peace.”
Gia Giudice recalls celebrating Christmas Eve with the Gorgas
The RHONJ daughter revealed that Christmas Eve marked the first time she had ever visited Melissa and Joe’s Franklin Lakes home, which she described as “gorgeous.”
“They invited us around Thanksgiving,” she told Jeff. “So we knew for quite some time now that we were gonna spend Christmas together.”
Gia said she also had a heart-to-heart with Joe and Melissa’s kids, Antonia, Gino, and Joey Gorga.
“I even said something to my cousins,” she recalled. “I said I am sorry for the disconnect and that I’m so happy we’re here in a place where we’re together… My mom and my aunt, everyone chimed in, and they were just like, let bygones be bygones, and we have to move on.”
Gia Giudice shares her honest thoughts on Melissa Gorga’s dessert brand
Gia said she thoroughly enjoyed the celebration, but wasn’t exactly impressed by the food.
“It was OK. They had it catered,” she explained. “Even next year — my mom even said it — we should all cook together because [the food] is always better. Even when my mom caters, it is what it is. There were certain things that were good, but we’re Italian; we want the seven fishes, we want all the seafood.”

While the entrees left a lot to be desired, Gia had nothing but kind words for Melissa’s Let’s Sprinkle brand, specifically the coffee cake.
“I like crumb cake… I thought the cake was very moist,” she said. “I’m not kidding. I really liked the cake.”
