Gia Giudice may have just won the “2016” trend dominating social media. On Tuesday, January 20, the Next Gen NYC cast member shared an inside look at her unexpected hangout with Fetty Wap — the New Jersey-born rapper who helped shape the mid-2010s hip-hop sound. Gia posted a video of her and the “Trap Queen” artist doing the Ice Spice “Big Guy” challenge with East Coast rapper Money Mont.
“This is 2016,” Gia captioned the Reel, which had received more than 64,000 “likes” as of press time.
It turns out that the Gia-Fetty get-together occurred at Jennifer Aydin’s family home. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared a closer look at Fetty’s visit in a January 20 Reel, which included shots of the rapper hanging out with her husband, Bill Aydin, and their kids.
“Just a little last-minute family dinner put together to host friends along with some new ones,” Jennifer wrote. “Thanks to everyone for a great evening!”

Fetty Wap meets Louie Ruelas & Gia Giudice’s BF, Christian Carmichael
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member revealed that Gia’s mom, Teresa Giudice, was unfortunately absent from the event; however, she confirmed that Gia’s boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, and stepdad, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, were in attendance, as she posted photos and videos of the men hanging out during Fetty’s special visit.
“A special thanks to [Fetty] who was so gracious to my family,” Jennifer added. “You and your family are welcome here anytime- at the house that no one wants to leave!!!”

Gia also uploaded a photo of her and Fetty standing side by side in Jennifer’s foyer. “So good to have our 2016 legend back,” she captioned the snap, which received multiple comments from her little sister Milania Giudice.
“Bye he missed his fav,” the University of Tampa sophomore wrote. “So sad i’m back at school rn.”

As many RHONJ fans know, Milania and Fetty go way back, as the rapper’s longtime collaborator Nitt da Gritt produced her 2019 song “I Can’t Wait to Grow Up.” Fans got a taste of the track in RHONJ Season 9, Episode 11, in which Nitt da Gritt introduced Milania to Fetty.
“I’ve been hearing your music. You’re lit,” Fetty said after hugging Milania.
The Jersey daughter was so taken aback that she struggled to catch her breath.
“Milania loves, loves, loves Fetty Wap,” Teresa said in an episode confessional. “Him coming out to see her, it really does mean a lot.”

While Teresa was not around for the Fetty Wap reunion, she has been very active as the Giudice family mends fences with Joe and Melissa Gorga and their kids. Weeks after their Christmas Eve reunion, Gia spoke about it during a Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen appearance on Jan. 20 when she was in the Bravo Clubhouse.
“We had a great Christmas Eve, it really was. Again with the building blocks, it’s just day by day. So little steps,” she said, to which Andy Cohen responded, “This is progress. Finally, some good news in 2026.”
