Gia Giudice Has Surprising Take on Ariana Biermann’s Breakup

Next Gen NYC’s Gia Giudice is weighing in on the shocking breakup between fellow cast members Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy.

The Jersey-based daughter of The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice sat with Julia Cunningham on Sirius XM’s Radio Andy, where she confessed to “definitely” being stunned by the news. As Gia put it in the Oct. 20 interview, “I mean, I love both of them, and their decision is their decision.”

She also said that she’s sure Ariana, who also grew up in front of the cameras as the daughter of The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak, would thrive no matter what because she’s “amazing.”

“She’s gonna flourish on her own, and I think they both kind of need this time for themselves, and we’re still young,” Gia continued. “So, it’s all about figuring it out.”

How Gia Giudice is supporting Ariana Biermann after her breakup

Gia has taken up for Ariana since the RHOA daughter announced her and Hudson’s breakup on Oct. 14. She accompanied Ariana and her older sister, Brielle Biermann, to celebrate her castmate’s 24th birthday dressed as cowgirls and painting the town red. In fact, before their night out — which correlated with Emira D’Spain’s own birthday bash — Gia said she planned to spend the night at Ariana’s brand-new apartment.

The sleepover took place amid Gia’s own search for a home around the Empire State.

“I’m so excited to move into my apartment,” Gia said before the festivities began. “Ariana sees the Statue of Liberty, and so do I. So I literally think we’re across the water from each other.”

Ariana Biermann moved out of her and Hudson McLeroy’s apartment

Ariana took her Instagram followers with her as she moved out of her and Hudson’s once-shared apartment into her stunning 22nd-story home all by herself on Oct. 16. She said it was her “first-ever apartment in New York City [where] I’m the sole person on the lease.”

Continued Ariana, “I’m excited. Also, a very bittersweet thing. Obviously, there’s a lot we need to catch up on; that’s for a different day.”

The move came only two days after she and Hudson put a period on their years-long, on-and-off-again relationship, which began when they were still in junior high school in Georgia.

“Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories. “While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions, and that’s OK. Love you all.”

What was Hudson McLeroy’s response to his breakup from Ariana Biermann?

Although both parties have yet to get into detail about what caused them to split, Hudson, on Oct. 17, shared his own Instagram post in response. He said, “I feel like everyone deserves to hear both sides of our story. I still and always will love Ariana. She’s been there for me at times when I couldn’t be there for myself. I still have a lot of things I need to heal from and deal with on my own to become the person I truly want to be. I appreciate all of the love and support everyone is showing us through this difficult time.”

Still, Ariana is holding her head high as she checks off life event after life event. Between her and Hudson’s parting of ways, a move into a new home, and turning another year older all within one week, Ariana has her eyes forward as she looks to the future.
