Gia Giudice Reveals Where She Stands With Riley Burruss Today

Gia Giudice is opening up about where she stands with Riley Burruss today. The Next Gen NYC cast members are taking fans inside their friendship with each other and their extended group on Next Gen NYC, including all of the ups and downs (more on that below).

How to Watch

Watch Next Gen NYC on Bravo Tuesdays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter recently spoke with Us Weekly, where she admitted that she knew Riley and their fellow cast members, Brooks Marks and Ariana Biermann, through “the Bravo world.” Although Gia admitted that she is closer to Brooks and Ariana than she is to Riley, she revealed that she doesn’t know where she stands with Riley now.

“I don’t know. She’s fine,” she said.  “I don’t know how to please her, I guess,” she said with a laugh.

Riley Burruss reveals that Gia Giudice “probably” takes after her mom, Teresa

Riley, whose mom is The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kandi Burruss, recently spoke with Decider, where she said that Gia is “probably” most like her mom, Teresa Giudice. “I don’t really know her mom that well, but I just feel like from what I’ve seen, I feel they’re both outspoken,” she said.

Gia Giudice explains what happened between her and Riley Burruss

Gia took to her podcast, Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice, on April 21, where she revealed what caused the rift in her relationship with Riley. “I actually said to her once, ‘I feel like Atlanta and Jersey give the same energy.’ She got really offended by that,” Gia recalled.

“She looked at me and said, ‘No, they’re very different.’ I said, ‘OK.’ I was very surprised, but she got very offended when I said that,” she explained. “It was kind of me also trying to bond over something.”

She spoke more about the comment in her recent interview with Us Weekly. “I was literally just trying to break bread, like, make some conversation, and all I was saying was, obviously, every Housewives franchise has their own niche,” Gia explained. “They all have what they’re known for. But, at the end of the day, they all have the same common denominator. They’re friend groups with drama.”

“I don’t know, she didn’t really like it, I guess,” she added.

Riley Burruss reveals why she’s “grateful” for Next Gen NYC

Riley explained to Parade that she has been so happy to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones, like Ariana, through the Next Gen NYC experience. “I’m really grateful for the show, for bringing me a lot of new friends,” she explained.

“Obviously, I knew Brooks before, I knew Ariana before, but I feel like our friendships really blossomed, and I met [Next Gen NYC cast member] Shai [Fruchter] and that was a great friendship to get…it has just been really nice meeting everyone,” she added.
