Gia Giudice’s high-rise apartment looks much different than it did a month ago. The Next Gen NYC cast member showed off the home changes in a January 24 TikTok video, just months after moving into the Jersey City pad.
“Unfortunately, the time has come,” Gia said while sporting a reindeer-print PJ set. “I need to take down all my Christmas decorations — my last time wearing my Christmas pajamas. So, let’s take down my Christmas decorations together.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter began by packing up her flocked Christmas tree framed by her floor-to-ceiling windows. Although this widely dreaded task is usually time-consuming, Gia managed to take the piece down relatively fast. Her secret? Well, she opted for a miniature tree that required fewer ornaments.
“It’s 4 feet tall,” Gia said while standing next to the tree.

She then removed the white and gold baubles and placed them in a storage box, and proceeded to disassemble the tree.
“I ordered a bunch of stuff on Amazon so I could store everything,” she added, “So, let’s do it.”
Once the tree was packed up, Gia turned her direction to her living room.
“OK, now it’s time for this side of my apartment,” she said. “I am going to bubblewrap everything up so that they don’t get ruined. This TV stand is gonna look a lot more spacious.”

The Next Gen NYC-er began removing holiday items around her entertainment console. We’re talking everything from nutcrackers and Christmas tree-shaped candles to reindeer figurines and a bright red sign that read, “He knows if you’ve been bad or good.”
Gia then grabbed a couple of candles in gold-toned goblets and debated whether she should keep them displayed or put them in storage.
“Is this Christmas-y?” she asked while holding the items. “I mean, it was a part of Pottery Barn’s holiday collection, but I feel these are cute.”
She ultimately chose to pack the candles with the other Christmas decor.
“Guys, look at that,” she said while showing off her home’s new look. “It’s so clean. I have to wipe the counters down and stuff, but it looks so good. This is more the vibe. It’s just clean, simple. OK, guys, all the Christmas stuff is packed. Until next year….”
Why did Gia Giudice move out of Teresa Giudice’s home?
After graduating from Rutgers University in 2023, Gia moved in with her mom, Teresa Giudice, and stepdad, Luis “Louie” Ruelas. Although Gia previously insisted she had “everything” she needed at the Montville mansion, she eventually grew tired of her long work commute.

Gia explained her frustration in a June interview with Today, saying her booming career required frequent — and lengthy — trips to New York City.
“It’s a lot,” she said. “My schedule has only picked up since Next Gen NYC, which is funny, because it picked up the summer we were filming Next Gen, and no one knew that we were filming it. It’s just my career kind of started picking up, and my brand started growing, and I am in the city at least four times a week, so it’s a lot of back and forth from Jersey.”
Gia Giudice reveals when her boyfriend might move in with her
Gia spoke about her new chapter during a December 2025 appearance on Teresa’s Turning the Tables podcast, explaining how her boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, was so supportive during her move.
“He knew that this was something that I wanted to do,” Gia said. “Now that I’m here, obviously, he sees how amazing it is.”
So, does Gia have any plans to shack up with Christian in the near future? She suspected it could happen within the upcoming year.
“I’m sure he’s going to move [into my apartment] in 2026 at some point,” she added. “But he knew that this was something that I wanted to do. I came to realize that I love being on my own and being by myself. I think your partner has to be understanding, understanding to what you need in points in your life, and we’ve both done a pretty good job at that.”
