We’ve received another taste of Gia Giudice’s latest business move. On Saturday, January 31, the Next Gen NYC cast member took fans inside Il Vero, the much-anticipated restaurant she’s launching with her mom, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice.
“Welcome to my restaurant,” Gia said in the Instagram Reel filmed outside the eatery’s entrance. “I want to take you inside and show you a little tour and just the progress of where we’re at. Come on…”

The video then cut to Gia and her adorable dog, Bella, inside the multi-floor restaurant, where a construction crew was hard at work.
“OK, it’s a little noisy in here, but this is the entrance of the restaurant,” Gia said before highlighting the “huge bar” area. “Tile is going down today, walls are being painted, [and] there’s gonna be a huge chandelier coming down here in the middle.”
The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter then made her way toward the second floor and provided an overhead shot of the entrance.
“This staircase, as you come up, overlooks the entire restaurant, and then it brings you into the upstairs,” she continued. “We’re so excited for you guys to experience this once it’s all done. As you can see, this upstairs is going to have glass railing all around.”

Gia highlighted the chevron wood floors and several velvet-like textiles hanging on the wall.
“We’re kind of planning out what vibes and colors we’re going for,” she explained while touching the fabric, “but, obviously, with the velvet, we’re going for, like, a very sexy lounge theme, so I’m really excited to see how this upstairs is going to look.”
Gia Giudice explains what makes Il Vero so “beautiful”
Although the interior was coming together quite nicely, Gia suggested she was most excited about the restaurant’s outdoor space.
“What’s beautiful about our restaurant is that we have a rooftop,” she said after heading to the snow-covered patio. “In the spring and summer, it’s going to be so nice to have couches out here, some outdoor seating, and really just enjoy the nice weather. Lots of restaurants don’t have rooftops, so it’s pretty amazing that we have a space that kinda has it all… outdoor space, indoor lounging space, and also some downstairs dining.”
Gia told fans there was still “lots of work to be done,” but she couldn’t wait for the big reveal.
“We’re so excited to open this beautiful space in the spring,” said at the end of the tour. “Can’t wait… I’m so excited for you guys to see the final look of everything and bring you guys to try our amazing restaurant.”
Teresa Giudice sheds light on her & Gia Giudice’s business partnership
Gia and Teresa announced the collaboration earlier this month, confirming that Gia would lead the project while her mom would serve as a consultant. The two are also working alongside Maria Sausa, a New York-based restaurateur/commercial real estate developer.

Il Vero, which translates from Italian to “the real thing” or “the truth,” is located at 170 Center Ave. in Westwood, New Jersey. The Guidices have yet to announce an official grand opening date.
“This has been a dream of mine for so long,” Teresa wrote in a January 15 Instagram. “And getting to do it alongside [Gia] makes it even more special… I’m beyond honored she asked me to consult on everything from the food to the vibe, the décor. The team is incredible. The space is stunning. And trust me when I say — the food is NEXT LEVEL.”
But this isn’t Teresa’s first venture into the restaurant biz. Look back at her involvement with Gorga’s Homemade Pasta & Pizza — a restaurant she helped open with her brother, Joe Gorga.
