Gia Giudice is breaking tradition. For the past several years, the Next Gen NYC cast member has ended the holiday season at her father Joe Giudice’s Caribbean home. But that won’t be the case for 2025, as Gia revealed she will skip the year-end getaway in favor of a more laid-back celebration.
“I’m not visiting my dad this New Year’s,” she shared in her December 8 Amazon Live stream.

But don’t worry: There’s no drama between the father and daughter. Gia said her ever-increasing workload made it too difficult for her to travel this holiday season, so she postponed her Bahamas trip to early 2026.
“Honestly, work has just been really crazy,” she continued. “I am planning to visit him in January, once work slows down a little bit.”

As for Christmas, Gia told viewers she intended to keep the festivities low-key “for once,” which she admitted was “kind of crazy.”
“Honestly… I’m kinda laying low,” she explained. “Just staying home and figuring out what I want to do for New Year’s. So, that is on the list.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter has had no trouble keeping busy this year, as she’s reached numerous milestones in the entertainment realm. She became a full-time cast member on Next Gen NYC, won the reality competition series Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, and took on hosting roles for the Casual Chaos and Dirty Rush podcasts. She also recently secured a new home in Jersey City, inked a deal with talent agency CAA, and hit 1 million followers on Instagram. Gia reflected on the latter win in a December 5 Instagram post.
“Beyond blessed and so incredibly grateful for all of you!” she wrote. “Celebrating one million on Instagram feels like an absolute dream. I never imagined I’d be here in this moment, and it’s all thanks to every single one of you. Thank you for watching me grow, supporting me, and being part of this journey. I can’t wait to keep sharing my life with you and to see where this next chapter takes us. I love you all so much!”
The carousel featured photos of Gia inside her new apartment, where her boyfriend, Christian Carmichael, surprised her with balloons, espresso martinis, and a cake with “1 million” piped on the top.
The post received hundreds of congratulatory comments, including a series of heart emojis left by her dad.

Joe, who has been living in the Bahamas since 2021, showed love to Gia in a December 12 Instagram post, which showed the father and daughter posing together at the Baha Mar in Nassau.
