Congrats are in order for Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen after he recently proposed to his longtime love. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and her longtime boyfriend confirmed their engagement on Jan. 7 and spilled all the details about her 6-carat engagement ring.
Gina and Travis confirmed their engagement to People and shared information on the dazzling diamond ring. The ring features a 6-carat, oval-cut center diamond, which sits in 18-carat gold and is surrounded by three smaller diamonds on each side. The ring is extra significant as the main stone is meant to represent Gina and Travis, and the side stones represent the couple’s six kids in their blended family from their previous marriages.
“The ring is absolutely perfect!” Gina told the publication about the engagement ring. “The thought he put into it blows my mind.”

In 2025, months before he popped the question, Gina opened up about what kind of engagement ring she would want from Travis if he ever proposed to her. She told The Daily Dish at that time that she liked a cushion-cut diamond that’s “super popular.”

“I honestly would just like a nice big round stone, like, nothing busy,” she said. “I feel like [in] my first marriage, my ring was very busy. And I just feel like I’m a different person now, so I just would want something very simple, classic, timeless, but not small. I mean, yeah, come on.”
And, yes, Gina was open to Travis asking her to marry him but wasn’t feeling any pressure to get married. “So would I say no? No. I would absolutely say yes,” she said at the time, also noting that she wasn’t “thirsty for a ring, but I wouldn’t mind one.”

As for the proposal, Travis asked Gina to marry him on New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31, 2025) while on vacation with her and their kids in Big Bear in California. In her interview with People, Gina opened up about the moment he popped the question with her stunning ring.
“I was in complete shock!” Gina said. “My nervous system was trying to catch up to what just happened in this magical moment and I was trying to process the iceberg that was being presented to me as well! I, of course, said ‘yes,’ and melted into what was the sweetest kiss I’ve ever felt!”
