Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen have been engaged for a few weeks, and she is so happy about this. However, The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is relishing in this moment with her fiancé and isn’t rushing anything in their journey just yet, and that includes wedding planning.
Gina spoke with The Daily Dish on Jan. 28, where she admitted that she is firmly in her fiancé era for now. “You know what? I feel like I am enjoying this and don’t feel a sense of urgency,” she said. “I really feel like, you know, I found the right person and the right partner for me that I wanna be like my forever person, you know? And so, I don’t wanna rush it. Like, I want to enjoy it. I am really enjoying being in this lovey dovey, in my engagement era, you know?”
The RHOC cast member continued, noting that she and Travis are on the same page about this. “I wanna take a beat, and I want to enjoy it. So me and Travis basically said, like, at least for the next six months, I’m not even gonna think about what I want wedding planning, none of it,” she added.
How Gina Kirschenheiter and Travis Mullen’s kids will be involved in their wedding
Although Gina admitted that she is waiting a firm six months to start planning her wedding, she already has some ideas for their nuptials. This involves including Gina’s three kids — daughter, Sienna, and sons, Nicholas and Luca — from her marriage to ex-husband, Matt Kitschenheiter, and Travis’ three kids — daughters, Presley and Bennett, and son, Joseph — from a previous relationship.
“I’ve already did the traditional wedding like the big wedding party and all of that, and there is like, one thing for me, when I see myself getting married, whether it’s a big wedding or a small wedding, I see all six of our children standing there beside us, like, as a wedding party. And I don’t really feel the need to include anyone else,” she noted. “I see it as like, Travis and I are getting married, but I really see it as us as a family committing to each other.”

But Gina is unclear about what kind of wedding she wants when she walks down the aisle. “Like, I’ll wake up one day, and I’ll be like, ‘I want a destination wedding.’ And then I’ll wake up the next day and be like, ‘No, I just want a killer, huge party in Orange County.’ And then I’ll wake up one day and be like, ‘I want a small ceremony, just me and the children,'” she explained.
“So honestly, I want all those things, and so I’m gonna have a hard time making those decisions,” she added. “I feel like I’m gonna be that bride that has several dresses, because why commit to one?”

Although Gina is unclear if she’s having a big or small wedding, she has a pretty clear idea of who is on the guest list. This includes her ex, Matt, and his new wife, Britt Kirschenheiter. “Matt and Britt, they were like, one of the first people that we told, and they are ready, like, they will absolutely be at our wedding. We are family, so absolutely,” she concluded.
