As Golnesa Gharachedaghi navigated some major financial issues on The Valley: Persian Style, she decided to revisit the lucrative business venture that helped her rake in some serious cash in the past.

During Season 1, Episode 3, Golnesa revealed that she had agreed to meet with ex-husband Dennis DeSantis, after several of months of not speaking, post-divorce. As she unpacked the aftermath of her bitter split, castmate Tanin Nikpey, meanwhile, asked if she planned to “talk about business” with Dennis, too.

“Of course, we have to. We were doing so well,” Golnesa replied. “Honestly, we were making so much f–king money.”

In a confessional, Golnesa explained that she and Dennis had gone into business together and launched her “sex toy company,” Intimately GG, in 2022. Like their marriage, which ended in an annulment 10 days after their November 2024 wedding in Las Vegas, their professional relationship had crumbled, too, however.

“At this point, there’s no business,” Golnesa explained to a producer. “I need to pay for my son’s tuition, my healthcare, my rent, my cars, and all that. It hurts me to my core to say that I need Dennis’ help. But business is business, and I wanna get back to that.”

Before she and Dennis could talk business once they eventually reunited, however, their discussion about the drama surrounding the demise of their marriage got so heated that The Valley: Persian Style‘s Jan. 15 episode ended with Golnesa abruptly storming out of the restaurant.

How Golnesa Gharachedaghi makes her money

The subject of Golnesa’s finances arose at the top of the series premiere amid her unexpected search for a new home. As the Shahs of Sunset alum’s father, Mahmoud, bluntly pointed out, Golnesa’s credit was “not that good” for someone hoping to secure a mortgage.

“Because my parents have always helped me financially, I’ve never had a job in my life,” Golnesa explained in an Episode 1 confessional. “Shahs was my first paycheck from anyone. But my parents are getting older; they need to be saving all that money up. So, I need to hustle. Adult life sucks.”

By Episode 2, Golnesa announced that she had just started an OnlyFans account, to start earning money.

She seemed to be getting off to a promising start, too, as Golnesa told Reza Farahan and Mercedeh Javid that her subscribers had already been buying her “gifts.”

“I’ll say like, ‘Oh, look, my toenail polish chipped. Can someone send me $300 for a pedicure?'” she elaborated.

Golnesa Gharachedaghi broke down her monthly expenses

Reza, in particular, had already broached a tough, “big brother conversation” with Golnesa that included some uncomfortable truths about her spending.

At the time, he was assisting Golnesa with her home search and had to break the news that one application had been turned down, based on her bank statement and credit report.

“You spend money like money grows on trees,” Reza told Golnesa, mentioning that it’s not uncommon for her to drop $100 on souvenir t-shirts during trips.

Golnesa, for her part, insisted that she was “not spending so much money,” though, before breaking down some of her monthly expenses, including 5-year-old son Elijah’s tuition and her frequent “weed” purchases.

“Every two days, I buy an ounce,” she admitted to Reza, before adding in a confessional, “Yeah, I might spend like 3 or 4,000 a month on weed. So what? If I did not spend this much on weed, this world would not be a safe place.”

Either way, Reza, who noted that Golnesa’s dad had “bankrolled her life forever,” said that he would like to see her bring her $9,000 monthly rent bill down to between $5,000 or $6,000 per month.

Growing annoyed by the conversation, Golnesa refused to downsize and shot back, “I’m not going into a shoebox. I just won’t do it.”
