She’s back! Gretchen Rossi is making her highly anticipated return to The Real Housewives of Orange County in Season 19, and she wasted no time clearing up any misconceptions fans have about her appearance since she last graced our screens.
“Ta-da! Bet you never thought you’d see me again, but here I am, in all my glory,” she announces in the above preview for Episode 2, which airs on July 17. “It’s been 11 years since I’ve been sitting in this chair.”
Gretchen last held an orange on RHOC Season 8, and jokes she hasn’t aged a day. Producers confirm her theory by showing a montage of her confessional looks dating back to her arrival in Season 4, which began airing in November 2008.
“I would say I look like I’ve been frozen in time, right? And no plastic surgery!” Gretchen says, clearing the air on any surgery rumors.
“Not even these suckers,” she adds, gesturing towards her breasts.

What to expect from Gretchen Rossi’s RHOC Season 19 debut
Of course, Gretchen isn’t just talking about her appearance when she rejoins the RHOC ladies during Episode 2. In the preview above, Gretchen and her longtime fiancé, Slade Smiley, visit Jennifer Pedranti in her home with fiancé Ryan Boyajian, and sit down to catch up with the couple, as well as with Katie Ginella and her husband, Matt. Jenn shares more on her unusual connection with Gretchen—and teases drama with another housewife.
“I met Gretchen when I was going through so much with Tamra [Judge]. I slid into Gretchen’s DMs,” Jenn explains. “I think all I had to say was ‘Tamra. SOS.’ And I got a call right away.”
After meeting during RHOC Season 4, Tamra and Gretchen had an on-and-off again friendship, which ended with the two cutting ties following Gretchen’s exit in Season 8.
“Every new housewife always reaches out to me and asks me how to deal with Tamra,” Gretchen says in the preview. “And I legitimately tell them to run. Like go the opposite direction. I could be making so much money if I started charging for the advice.”
It doesn’t look like Gretchen and Tamra have mended any fences heading into Season 19, as Tamra yells at Gretchen in the trailer, “Twelve years you’ve been going after me!”

Gretchen Rossi opens up about daughter Skylar in RHOC Season 19
Elsewhere in the preview, Gretchen shares an update on her and Slade’s now six-year-old child.
“I feel like it was just yesterday,” she says. “We had a daughter, Skylar Gray.”
Gretchen goes on to describe her daughter as a “wild daredevil.”
“She’s already on like a dirt bike,” she adds. “I’m legitimately scared when she turns into a teenager.”
Back in June, Gretchen and Slade celebrated Skylar’s big milestone: school graduation. She shares more about her daughter to Katie and Jenn in the preview, and why she might be purchasing chickens to make her little one happy.
“Oh my gosh. Every day, Skylar, she has them at school. So every day, she’s like, ‘Mom, can we get a chicken?’” Gretchen tells the group. “They call her the chicken whisperer because she gets the chicken and walks around with it.”
