Gretchen Rossi of The Real Housewives of Orange County has strong feelings about how things ended on the Season 19 finale. As such, she explained to Jennifer Pedranti on The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show that she hopes to defend herself at the upcoming reunion.
“I really enjoyed myself this season, so for it to end on such an ugly, bad note for me, where it put such a bad taste in my mouth again, I was just so sad,” she said. “I was so deflated, and I was like ‘Wow.’”
She specifically pointed to the moment in which Heather Dubrow asked for proof that she hadn’t liked posts that were “very disparaging to the LGBTQ+ community,” as Tamra Judge had accused her of doing.
“I’m going to come to the reunion with the proof that this isn’t true,” Gretchen said. “But, also, it kind of makes me mad that, like, I have to do that. Like, why don’t you prove to me that it is true?”

Elsewhere on the RHOC After Show, Emily Simpson referred to the “uncomfortable” dinner on the season finale in which Gina Kirschenheiter confronted Gretchen about liking the aforementioned posts. From there, she shared new insight into her and Gretchen’s dynamic today.
“There are a lot of positive things about Gretchen, but then I’m also very confused about what happened at the end and her standpoint and what’s true and what’s not,” Emily said. “And, so, I don’t know. I hope to gain some kind of clarity as to who she is.”
For her part, Tamra Judge called Gretchen’s reaction on the Oct. 30 episode the “nail in the coffin,” adding, “I don’t associate with people like that. I don’t want to be her friend. Ever.”
Shannon Storms Beador, meanwhile, offered a broader take after all of the season’s drama: “I would say, where does the group go from here?”

Gretchen wore a “custom Walter Mendez gown,” she said in a backstage interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “I think the vision behind it was just to be authentically myself, which is very much a glam goddess,” she said. “I love the glam, I love the over-the-top. We have some bling on the dress, bustier, we have some mesh design that makes it feel very goddess-like.”
