Gretchen Rossi isn’t afraid to dress up and go all out with her looks. The Real Housewives of Orange County friend loves pairing a fun outfit with a wig to hit the town with her fiancé, Slade Smiley, which she has done a few times in the past, including for Halloween almost a decade ago.

Gretchen took to Instagram in November 2016, where she posted a photo of herself posing alongside Salde while wearing their Halloween costumes. Slade can be seen wearing a vampire costume, complete with a cape and fake fangs. Gretchen sported a Marie Antoinette-inspired look, complete with a satin corset, matching hat, and choker. But the star of the show was her baby pink wig, which really completed the look.
The wig fully transformed her appearance with its tight pink ringlets and pink side-swept bangs, complementing her super-pink outfit. “Hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

But this wasn’t the only time that Gretchen sported a colorful wig that year. The mom of one took to Instagram on Aug. 1, 2016, where she showed off her short, purple bob that she paired with a tight, geometric printed dress.
Gretchen served some serious face as she wore a bright purple, shoulder-length wig with side-swept bangs that covered her forehead. “Everyone knows I love a good theme party!” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Saturday night fun in Rancho Santa Fe for a Purple Rain/Prince Tribute Party!”

Three years and one baby later, Gretchen sported another purple bob in a much lighter color. She took to Instagram on Oct. 31, 2019, where she posted a photo rocking a lavender bob next to Slade and their daughter, Skylar Gray Smiley, as they wore unicorn-inspired Halloween costumes.
“It’s Sky’s first Halloween and we had so much fun playing dress up with her,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

Although these colors might be a little unexpected, Gretchen is a natural blonde. While Gretchen normally wears her hair sleek and shiny, she took to Instagram on Jan. 30, 2021, where she posted a video of her showing off her naturally curly and wavy hair.
“Did you guys know that I have super wavy/curly hair?” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Yes, that’s my naturally wavy/curly hair in this video. So obviously it takes the right products to help get a beautiful salon-like blowout that’s smooth, sleek & frizz free.”

She continued in the video, showing off her hair de-tangler, blow-out cream, and root lifter, which she uses to help achieve her sleek look. “Here’s to shiny, voluminous hair!” she concluded in the video.
