Heather Dubrow is speaking out about how at least one of her castmates handled Katie Ginella’s polygraph test results on The Real Housewives of Orange County.
After one of the examiners announced that Katie had failed on every single question, she had only begun to defend herself when party host Emily Simpson told her to leave her home.
“I was upset that Emily didn’t give Katie the opportunity to say something, because I didn’t think that was fair,” Heather shared on The Real Housewives of Orange County After Show for Season 19, Episode 9.

When an After Show producer mentioned Katie’s decision “to walk away from the group” following the blowup, Shannon Storms Beador, meanwhile, insisted that she did not force her hand, even in light of the intense drama between them relating to a secret recording.
“I didn’t particularly say, ‘You’re out of the group.’ I mean, Emily said, ‘Get out of my house,'” Shannon pointed out in the above clip. “I just sat there in awe that it was all happening.”
Heather Dubrow weighs in on Katie Ginella and Jennifer Pedranti’s drama
In the immediate aftermath of Katie leaving Emily’s Persian New Year party, the women — who also included Tamra Judge, Gina Kirschenheiter, Jennifer Pedranti, and Gretchen Rossi — discussed her place in the group, moving forward.
Though Heather assured Jenn, “If you wanna continue a friendship with her, because you get something out of it, no one’s gonna fault you for that,” both Gina and Gretchen interjected that they would be “upset” if she maintained a relationship with Katie.
Afterward, Jenn met with Katie during RHOC‘s Sept. 4 episode, at which point she decided there may not be a path forward for them, after all. Whereas Jenn had hoped Katie would take “accountability” for allegedly lying about drama involving Gretchen, Tamra, and a blogger, among other topics, she continued to insist her answers were truthful — and even brought receipts she believe proved the lie-detector test was a “setup.”

Predicting the women would find her claim to be “preposterous,” later, Jenn still presented Katie’s file folder of evidence to Heather and Tamra.
Explaining that polygraph tests are “not for entertainment,” Heather shot down Katie’s allegation, adding, “That is not what happened.”
As Heather further remarked to Tamra, “I’ve really tried with Katie this year. I was sort of hoping she would redeem herself, because the truth does always come out.”
