Heather Dubrow has been married to her husband, Dr. Terry Dubrow, for 26 years, and they have perfected their balance of tasks in their relationship, from kids to money.

The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member recently spoke with BravoTV.com, where she opened up about how they have been able to handle things in their marriage when it comes to their finances and parenting their four kids. “So Terry and I are really good at balancing the family and businesses and finances and investments, and when it comes to the children, that’s my realm,” she admitted. “He has no say.”
Of course, the Dubrow kids are busy, as Heather added, “It’s so crazy to me that Max is in college. Nicky’s in college. Katerina’s off to college. And Ace is entering high school, and crazy enough, this summer, he’s studying at Oxford, so I guess he’s in college too.”
In a June interview with E! News, Terry praised Heather for being the “most fabulous mother and wife” and shared some major parenting advice to others, noting that parents should give their kids “a supportive and loving environment.” “Act like there are cameras around and that you’re going to be held accountable for the way you act,” he advised. “That immediately removes all of your preconceived douchi-ness you might have.”

But both Heather and Terry know their kids have their own set of unique demands. Notably, they want a family home that they can visit and just relax in, as Heather and Terry currently live in a penthouse in Los Angeles.
Terry explained to The Daily Dish that their kids, three of whom are currently in college, still “really want[ed] a family home.”

“I know they do,” Heather added.
“They are bugging us. Daily,” the plastic surgeon continued. “Where’s the house? Where’s the house?”

Although Heather and Terry can see eye to eye about building their dream family home or selecting who gets to make decisions for the kids, they can’t agree on one thing. During RHOC Season 19, Episode 5, Heather told her cast members that Terry has worn shoe “lifts” for “years.”
“He’s got those shoes with the things inside,” she explained during the Aug. 7 episode. “Terry’s lifts are from China. And sadly, his shoes are going to be not just high, but highly priced.”

Terry spoke with Decider on Aug. 18 where he shared his reaction to finding out what Heather had said during the episode. “I said to her…’Am I going to out you for the things that only I know about?’ I actually looked at her and I said, ‘Why?'” Terry recalled. “I mean, I’m not really short. I’m 5’11”, but it makes me, like, 6’1″, which is kind of sexy and good. I thought it was weird.”
“To be perfectly honest with you, I was a little pissed,” he added. “I really was. I could feel acid in my blood for about five minutes. I texted [her] and I went, ‘Really?’ She goes, ‘Oh, whatever.’ I go, ‘Oh, whatever?'”
