Heather Dubrow and Dr. Terry Dubrow’s marriage is stronger than ever. The Real Housewives of Orange County couple have been married for more than two decades and are not letting anything come between their marriage — not even rumors about Terry.
Heather and Terry took to their podcast, Between Us, on Dec. 17, where they revealed that there are rumors swirling about their marriage. “I’m gay, right? Isn’t that the latest rumor?” Terry asked Heather.
“Yes, that’s been for a while,” Heather replied, noting how three of their four children identify as LGBTQIA+. “It’s just so stupid. We’re this gay family household. Why would we live like that? Why would we hide that?”
Terry continued, opening up about the rumors. “First of all, if I’m gay in this long-term relationship, please feel bad for me because I’m not living my true life,” he stated. “I’m living a life of dissatisfaction…if I were gay, I would be gay. I’d be really happy about it. And I would show it. And by the way, I would be wealthier because I would have married a guy who was very, very successful right away. And we don’t spend money the way women spend money.”
“But as gay friendly as we are, why would we live a life like that? It would be the most hypocritical,” Heather added. “And what would we be showing our kids?”

Heather and Terry also shared their advice for a strong marriage in a video posted to Instagram on Dec. 12. In the video, Terry can be seen holding onto a bottle of vodka, lip-synching to a conversation as it played in the background. “Is it worth it?” Heather “asked” Terry.
“Oh yeah, it’s worth it,” Terry replied. “If you’re strong enough.”

Heather then took to the caption of the post, where she added some pretty hilarious commentary to the video. “Terry’s marriage advice: ‘If you’re strong enough’…and yes, vodka helps!” she wrote.

After selling their home in Beverly Hills earlier this year, Heather and Terry are still living together in Southern California. Heather appeared on the Bougie Not Basic panel at BravoCon 2025, where she opened up about their current living situation.

“So we’ve been back in Los Angeles for the last couple of years,” Heather explained. “But, you know, our roots are in Orange County, and all my girls are there, so, you know, we go back and forth.”
