Only Heather Dubrow could broker a peace deal between sparring Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles real estate agents Josh Altman and Josh Flagg.Â
In fact, Altman said as much during The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19, Episode 4, when they arrived at Heather’s Beverly Hills home which she hired the duo to sell.
“I got the call, ‘Hey, I want you to co-list with Flagg.’ I couldn’t tell you how thrilled I was,” he quipped. “Only you could make this happen.”
After joking that the two were “making way too much money off of” her and husband Dr. Terry Dubrow, Heather added in a confessional, “There are no bigger real estate agents than Josh Altman and Josh Flagg, and they had a bit of a falling out.”

A flashback to MDLLA Season 15 quickly reminded viewers that Altman and Flagg were feuding over a listing (more on that below).
“I’d like to think it’s a testament to how much they both love me,” Heather continued. “But it could be the commission check as well.”
Josh Altman and Josh Flagg react to Heather Dubrow’s home renovations
As Heather previously explained on the RHOC Season 19 premiere, she and Terry decided to sell the mansion after a contractor came in $8 million over budget and they discovered asbestos in the home. She estimated they would need to spend $45,000 on renovations before it was ready to hit the market.
During the July 31 episode, Heather showed Altman and Flagg that she’d since made the home “more presentable,” by installing new floors and floorboards and adding some fresh coats of paint.Â

“It’s hard when you know you’re walking away from a project to put one more dime in it,” she shared in a confessional, before adding that that she won the renovation debate after explaining “Marketing 101” to Terry.Â
As she filled in the MDLLA duo, “the problem” was that they “got a little hosed by the budget” and by the time their planned rebuild would be complete, their 14-year-old son Ace would already be a high school senior. Ultimately, seeing the project through to the end was “not viable” for the Dubrow family.
“This feels like a lot,” Heather admitted, later adding, “The universe is telling us to go elsewhere.”
Josh Altman and Josh Flagg manage Heather Dubrow’s home sale expectations
Altman, meanwhile, pointed out that when he sold her the 9,000-square-foot mansion for $16 million in 2023, she had planned a “major overhaul” to turn it into an $85 million estate.
“You didn’t do that,” he added. “So, we gotta understand, you’re not gonna make some crazy amount of money.”
Heather, meanwhile, insisted that she just wanted to “break even” on the deal, before breaking down her asking price suggestion. As she saw it, they had invested “a couple million” in renovations, and when you add in California’s ULA mansion tax and paying for Altman and Flagg’s cars, the total came out to about $20 million.
Stating that she was “glad” that they listed the home for $25 million, she asked if they thought they’d “get close to” $20 million, to which Flagg responded, “Well, we just listed it. It’s a little [early] to tell you that.”
After also touring the exterior of the property, which Altman noted was “sandwiched in between” NBA star LeBron James and rapper Drake’s Beverly Hills homes, Flagg described the breathtaking view as “the billionaire’s horseshoe.”
Asking if there was a “competition” between them to bring in a buyer, Altman and Flagg shared some playful banter about who actually does more work. The former even jokingly offered to give his co-worker “more commission” if he climbed down a cliff.
Why were Josh Altman and Josh Flagg feuding?
As a quick refresher, tensions reignited during MDLLA Season 15 when Altman took on the Readcrest listing that Flagg had believed would be a joint venture. Though Flagg was “hurt” by the perceived slight, Altman cited the seller’s preference.
“I asked her straight up, I was like, ‘What about Flagg?'” Josh Altman recalled. “She said straight up, ‘I just want you.'”
After talking out their issues, the two agreed to move forward but never fully repaired their relationship.
Chatting with The Daily Dish in September 2024, Flagg provided a friendship update:Â “Obviously Altman and I are not as close as we once were, but we’re no longer fighting. … It would be nice to see us in a better place. I’m hopeful that will come in time.”
