Police in Massachusetts are searching for a woman who has not been seen since Friday.
Worcester police said Joanna Brown, 30, told co-workers at Bean Counter Bakery Cafe that she had to leave due to an undisclosed personal matter. Family and friends said she has not returned to work, but she also has not been in contact since Friday — which is out of character, according to The Worcester Guard.
The Telegram & Gazette reported that Brown has worked at the bakery for eight years. Police said there is a “heightened concern for her safety,” but provided no further details.
Brown, who may be in the Holyoke or Springfield area, is possibly driving a 2025 gray Mitsubishi Outlander with Massachusetts license plate 5GPN93. She was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches tall and having hazel eyes.
Anyone with information regarding Brown’s whereabouts should call Worcester police at 508-799-8606.
