Who Was Dr. Bill Wert?

Dr. Bill began his healthcare career as a Physician Assistant at Geisinger Wyoming Valley ICU before going on to graduate from medical school at the Lake Erie College of Medicine and completing his general surgery residency at Geisinger Northeast Surgery Residency. He then joined the Geisinger St Luke’s general surgery practice shortly before his passing.

Doctor Bill was devoted to his wife and children and was the only one who could provide for them financially. His passion for helping others was clear through his work in healthcare and he will be sorely missed by all who knew him or were lucky enough to receive care from him during his time as a doctor.
