Meghan King was surrounded by her three children on her birthday this year, and she could not be happier.Â
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum shares three kids — daughter, Aspen, and twin sons, Hart and Hayes Edmonds — with her ex-husband. And those kids made sure to make their mom’s birthday extra special this year, as she turned 41 years old. Meghan took to her Instagram Story on Sept. 26, where she posted a series of photos with her children in their St. Louis home on her birthday. She posted a selfie with the three of them, minutes after they got out of bed, covering her eyes with a “Happy Birthday” banner.
“My kids made my birthday so special!” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Breakfast in bed, my favorite sparkling water in a birthday glass, cards, and hugs all around.”
She also documented her kids getting a “birthday golf cart ride” to school, as well as what gift she got on her big day. Meghan received a Nespresso Vertuo Next coffee maker that her kids wrapped in brown paper, decorated with notes, drawings, and balloons. “Single mom hack: buy what you want, then ask the sitter to wrap it with them,” she noted.
“No more Keurig, I’m a real grown-up now,” she noted.

Meghan King on balancing being a single mom and her career
Meghan’s kids are very close to her. The mom of three and real estate agent took to her Instagram Story in July, where she revealed that she was visiting a newly listed house with all three kids in tow.
“My job is being forced upon my children (don’t blame me blame the system, all of em) so you will likely see a lot of my kids in the summer while I work, it’s like having two full-time jobs,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “You get it, you all get it.”

Meghan was super happy to be “raising school-free kids” while “slanging houses,” according to one Instagram post in June. But she was also super happy to send them off on their first day of school. “BYEEEEEEEE,” she wrote in the caption of the Aug. 19 Instagram post, along with a peace sign.
Meghan has always been open about her co-parenting journey.
