Sutton Stracke is bringing “main character energy” to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 and her own career. The RHOBH cast member is a mom of three, a longtime lover of the arts, and a dancer who later pivoted her career into fashion. And she now has some big plans for her career in the future.
Sutton spoke with The Daily Dish in December, where she teased some very big plans that are on the horizon for her clothing line, Sutton Brands. “We are in the throes of setting up all of our live shopping,” she explained.
“So that’s going to happen in 2026, which is pretty cool,” she continued. “And with all kinds of different avenues that we’re going to do live shopping, so it’s going to be fun.”

What is Sutton Stracke’s clothing brand?
Sutton is the owner and founder of Sutton Brands, “a sustainable fashion effort and the latest of her artistic adventures.” Sutton launched the brand in October 2023, taking to Instagram at the time to open up about her latest venture. “Sutton Brands pairs celebrities with a custom sustainable collection that showcases their unique aesthetic, while being eco-friendly to our planet,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.

Sutton partnered with The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Cynthia Bailey for her first celebrity partnership for Sutton Brands. Cynthia served as a “celebrity curator” for the sustainable line, starting with a line of home goods.
“We want to be sustainable, we want to be good for the earth,” Sutton explained to BravoTV.com in a September 2023 interview. “We want to spread this message out […] to get fashion back in check, because we’re trying to be a part of the solution, not part of the problem.”
“It’s not a collaboration, because Cynthia’s in charge of her line,” Sutton added. “It’s all hers. She gets to choose what she wants to put her label on. It’s really mindful with what she wants to do with her label and circulating it back into the fashion world.”

Sutton is a graduate of Converse University, a women’s college in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Following graduation, Sutton moved to NYC to study dance, kickstarting her interesting career journey.
Sutton Stracke on her career with Merce Cunningham
“I was a choreographer. I was a dancer, I was a ballet dancer, and then I studied modern dance,” Sutton explained in a 2021 interview with The Daily Dish. “And I really wanted to continue my choreography, and I had big dreams of being, like, this profound modern dance choreographer. And I wanted to study the technique of José Limón, and I did. I studied for a year.”

Sutton was eventually offered a job with the José Limón Dance Company, but she passed on the opportunity to work with Merce Cunningham as the studio manager. She eventually became the director of development for the Merce Cunningham Dance Company in New York.
“We would do big galas, you know, for like 600 people,” she admitted. “And in New York’s society, that is a difficult task to do gala seating for New York socialites and they take it very seriously.”
Sutton has also served as the Executive Director of the Augusta Ballet, currently sits on the American Ballet Theatre Board of Trustees, and has sat on boards in Los Angeles, New York, and in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia.
