Hudson McLeroy Shares Life Update After Ariana Biermann Split

Hudson McLeroy left 2025 with some unexpected lessons.

The Next Gen NYC cast member reflected on the year in a January 2 Instagram post, just months after his shocking breakup with Ariana Biermann. Hudson didn’t specifically mention the split, but vaguely referred to all the changes he experienced within the past 12 months.

Hudson McLeroy shares his outlook for 2026: “I can’t wait…”

“2025, I never thought you’d teach me what you did but here we are,” he captioned the carousel, which showed the Atlanta-raised investor/artist with his white Porsche. “I continue to never thank god enough for each and every blessing in my life but I truly will never be able to thank him enough.”

Hudson concluded the post by sharing his outlook for the new year.

“I can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store for my life and those around me,” he wrote.

How did Hudson McLeroy meet his ex-girlfriend Ariana Biermann?

There’s no question that 2025 was a momentous year for Hudson. One year after he and Ariana relocated to New York City, they appeared on the inaugural season of Next Gen NYC. The series followed the longtime couple as they navigated family and friendship drama in the Big Apple, while attempting to start their own fashion brand.

Ariana spoke about her relationship with Hudson during a July 2025 appearance on the Comments By Celebs podcast, revealing she met her former beau through her older sister, Brielle Biermann.

“My sister saw him on the beach when we were 14, and we were in Florida, and she saw him on the beach and was like, ‘Oh my God, I need to get your Snapchat and see a picture of you. You’d be the love of my sister’s life,’” Ariana recalled. “She gave me his Snapchat, or whatever, and we talked on Snapchat.”

Although they were introduced to each other in the Sunshine State, Ariana and Hudson were both from the Atlanta area, which is where their bond really formed. However, the Next Gen NYC-er confessed it wasn’t easy at first, as her parents kept her on a tight leash around the time she had met Hudson.

“I actually ended up getting grounded for a whole year after sneaking out of my house. And my parents didn’t let me have a life,” Ariana explained.  “But my sister took me — for my birthday present — on my first date with him after we’d been talking for six weeks over Snapchat. And we went there (Avalon mall) and she took us on a date.”

Cut to October 2025, when Ariana announced she and Hudson had called it quits. The Real Housewives of Atlanta daughter didn’t reveal what exactly led to the split, but suggested it was a mutual decision.

“Hudson and I have decided to go our separate ways,” she wrote on Instagram. “While these things are never easy, we both know it’s what’s best for us right now. We are so grateful for all the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. Sometimes life takes you in different directions and that’s OK. Love you all.”

Hudson addressed the breakup a day later, insisting he had nothing but love for his ex.

“I feel like everyone deserves to hear both sides of our story,” He wrote on Instagram. “I still and always will love Ariana. She’s been there for me at times when I couldn’t be there for myself. I still have a lot of things I need to heal from and deal with on my own to become the person I truly want to be. I appreciate all of the love and support everyone is showing us through this difficult time.”
