Victor Colon (Miami-Dade Department of Corrections).
A Florida man was arrested more than a year after he allegedly pointed a gun at a victim and pulled the trigger moments after he took the bullet out of the chamber.
Victor Colon, 62, stands accused of armed robbery in an incident that occurred in Miami-Dade County on Dec. 14, 2023. Jail records show he was booked into jail on Wednesday. Local ABC affiliate WPLG obtained a probable cause arrest affidavit stating the alleged victim and his father reported the incident to authorities about three days after it occurred.
The alleged victim said he was at his mother”s house playing video games when Colon burst into his room and started cursing at him. Per the affidavit, the victim began recording on his phone and tried to escape, but Colon prevented him from leaving by grabbing his shirt. Colon reportedly pulled out a gun and snatched the victim’s phone from his hand.

The suspect reportedly pressed the firearm to the victim’s head and said, “I should kill you.” At one point, Colon allegedly unchambered a round from the gun and again put it on the victim’s head before pulling the trigger.
Colon also allegedly said, “I should bury you in the back with the rest of them.” He then asked the victim’s mother if he should shoot her son, but she replied, “No.” Colon started slapping the victim in the face, the complaint reportedly said.
The victim ran from the home when Colon was going to the bathroom, cops said.
It’s unclear what led to Colon’s arrest nearly two years later. He did not have a lawyer listed in court records.
Colon is reportedly a friend of the alleged victim’s mother.
As of Thursday afternoon, he remained in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond.
