Hannah Ferrier loves her “family time.” The Below Deck Mediterranean alum and her husband, Josh Roberts, are parents of the sweetest 4-year-old daughter, Ava Grace Roberts, and Hannah is constantly talking about how much love is between the three of them.
Hannah’s Instagram feed is filled with photos of her spending time with her daughter and her husband, documenting their life and all of their adventures in their home in Australia. Sometimes life can be glamorous for Hannah, as she is frequently walking the red carpet, attending finale parties, and traveling to some of the most amazing places in Australia.Â
But when she isn’t doing that, she is relaxing at home with Josh and Ava. Hannah took to her Instagram Story earlier this week, where she posted the sweetest photo of her and Josh sitting on a couch with Ava, who made the silliest face into the camera. “Family time,” she wrote over the photo.

Hannah gave an even bigger look into her life as a mom earlier this month on Mother’s Day. Hannah took to her Instagram account, where she posted a photo of Ava sitting on her lap as she held a bouquet of flowers in her hand and smiled for the camera.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful mums out there doing their best!” she wrote in the caption of the post. “It’s certainly an interesting ride but by far the best thing I’ve done in my life and I’m grateful every day that I have the privilege of watching this beautiful, smart, sassy girl grow.”
She continued to reflect on motherhood in April, sharing a throwback photo on Instagram of her, holding a much younger Ava in the photo. “It’s so amazing how these little ones grow so quickly,” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Everyone told me — ‘it goes so quickly’ — but I never got it. Until recently. They DO GROW SO BLOODY QUICKLY!”
Hannah Ferrier reveals how motherhood has changed her
On the Extraordinary Stories podcast in April, Hannah admitted that having her daughter has changed her.
“I think that motherhood for me has definitely softened me a lot,” she said. “I look at, I guess, how I parent and how I speak with Ava. And I definitely kind of talk to her, as, like, a little adult…But I don’t know how to communicate any other way.”
“But she’s definitely brought out a really soft side of me. A very fiercely protective side of me,” she added.
Who is Hannah Ferrier’s husband, Josh Roberts?
Josh is a Scotland native who works in commercial real estate. In spite of Hannah having a high profile job, Josh is not as open with his life as Hannah is. “He’s very private,” Hannah explained on the Extraordinary Stories podcast in April.
“We were engaged and he’d still not let me post a photo of him on social media,” she added at the time.
Hannah continued to open up about Josh’s privacy during an interview with BravoTV.com.
“That’s definitely something I respect,” she said. “It’s probably for the best. Like, I don’t think I could date someone that was fascinated with their Instagram and taking selfies and stuff. He’s just very low-key.”

During the premiere of Below Deck Med Season 5, Hannah revealed that she had met Josh in 2018. “In between charter seasons, I went home to Australia, I met someone,” she revealed during a confessional. “And this is definitely the first relationship that I actually see some longevity and potentially get married and making babies and having a family.”

Hannah accurately predicted this, as they got engaged in November 2020, weeks after welcoming their daughter into the world. They then exchanged vows and got married in Australia in March 2022. Hannah and Josh just celebrated their third wedding anniversary this year in March.
“Happy Wedding Anniversary to us,” Hannah wrote in the caption of the Instagram post, where she shared a photo from their wedding. “Very impressed he’s put up with me for this long.”
