Ashlee Holmes has been living in New Jersey since her mom, Jacqueline Laurita, moved to California. But Ashlee and her son, Cameron Malleo, recently reunited with The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum in California, where they had the best time.
Ashlee took to her Instagram account back in April, where she posted three different videos comprised of clips from her and Cameron’s trip out west. The New Jersey-based makeup artist and her son, who is currently in elementary school, made the trek to visit their family in California and Las Vegas for spring break, capturing it all in a series of clips.
In the first video, posted to her Instagram account, Ashlee captured her new dog, Rocky (more on that down below), hanging out in California, while Cameron soaked up the sun. She also snapped a video of them out to dinner with Jacqueline, as well as her stepdad, Chris Laurita, and her two brothers, CJ and Nicholas Laurita. Later in the video, they also hung out on the beach, explored a candy shop, and hit the town at night.
Ashlee captured even more exciting times with her mom, her son, and her siblings in a video documenting the third part of the trip, which she posted to her Instagram account on April 27. “Didn’t even document a fraction of what I intended,” she captioned the post. “A lot of being in the moment with the people that I love.”

Ashlee’s family expanded back in March when Ashlee surprised Cameron with a new puppy. Ashlee took to Instagram on March 24, where she posted a video of her gifting her son the dog. “This is your puppy,” she told him in the video. “This is yours. You get to keep him.”
Ashlee named the puppy Rocky, introducing him to her Instagram followers in the caption of the post. “Rocky has entered the chat,” she wrote. “We rescued this sweet Mini Australian Shepherd/Corgi mix from Texas. My Aunt hand delivered him today.”
She is so clearly in love with the dog, posting the most hilarious videos of him to Instagram. “Saying that my dog matches my vibe is an understatement…” she wrote in the caption of the post.

Jacqueline took to her Instagram account in December, where she wrote the sweetest message to Ashlee on her birthday. “I admire the strong, independent woman you’ve become and the wonderful mother that you are to Cameron,” she wrote in the caption of the post.
“I hope this year brings you many amazing new adventures and opportunities,” she continued. “Watching you grow your faith, and into the woman you are today fills me with so much pride and joy. Thank you for just being you, my firstborn who gave me the glorious gift of becoming a mother for the first time, and continuing to share the ups and downs of life with me. I love you very much!”
