One of the OG Summer House roommates thought long and hard about her future on the Season 9 finale.
Lindsay Hubbard has been summering in the Hamptons since the 2017 premiere episode of the show, but after the birth of her baby daughter, Gemma, she’s considering the idea that her days of living in the share house might be numbered.
It all started on the May 21 episode when Lindsay chatted with Danielle Olivera and Kyle Cooke at the end of summer party, and the three began reminiscing.
“I love us,” Danielle declared. “God, we’ve gone through so many summers.”
She also added, “It feels like the end. It truly does.”
But Lindsay disagreed: “No. This doesn’t feel like an ending for me.”
Danielle and Kyle were not on the same page as Lindsay, as Kyle chimed in, “But at a certain point, you know—” and Danielle interjected, “You have to hang up the cleats.”
“You’d like to think that there’s a next chapter brewing,” Kyle added.
Danielle tried to make her friend see reason. “You are delulu,” Danielle said. “You are delulu if you don’t think this is an ending.”
Lindsay Hubbard considers her future on Summer House after becoming a mom
So, is this the end of the Summer House era for Lindsay? She pondered the tough question during the finale.
“I’m in the process of going through an identity crisis,” a pregnant Lindsay said in Episode 15. “Think about it: This is a huge transitional year for me. Like becoming a mom is a huge transition in and of itself.”
But that wasn’t the only consideration with which Lindsay had to wrestle. When she first joined Summer House, she was working as a public relations expert, but now she’s pivoted to influencing, as well as managing her Nashville rental property, Hubb House. But her time on Summer House has been a huge part of her career.
“It’s not like I can live in a party/share house, right? So, like what does that mean? I don’t know,” Lindsay confessed in Episode 15. “How am I going to make my money? I don’t f—king know. Where do I go from here?”
Lindsay left the answer of her return to Summer House up in the air. Danielle reassured her no matter what happens, it’ll be okay.
“It’s a beginning for you, and everyone’s next chapter looks different, and that’s okay,” she told her.

Although he doesn’t live with her and Gemma, they’re together all the time.
“He’s incredible,” she previously shared with E! News. “He loves her so much. He was right by my side as I gave birth and then for the first six weeks, he had paternity leave. Now, he’s back at work, but he’s with us in the mornings and at night.”
Lindsay also recently made another big change: a new apartment. Throughout May, Lindsay has shared glimpses of her new place on social media as she moved in.
Lindsay shared that she moved because of her daughter.
“I love my current apartment, but it’s seen me through a lot of changes,” the new mom told The Daily Dish. “I have to start making friends for her and eventually put her in school. So that’s the goal. Right now, the location is the most important for Gemma and what is best for her.”
