Stacey Rusch has made no secret of her reconciliation with ex-husband Thiemo Rusch on The Real Housewives of Potomac, but what her castmates do think she’s hiding is the actual legal status of their divorce.
Citing a lack of available public records, Ashley Darby led the charge in questioning whether Stacey and Thiemo ever actually divorced during the RHOP Season 10 premiere. Despite Stacey’s insistence that she and Thiemo were no longer legally married, Ashley and Gizelle Bryant remained skeptical, at best, as the drama at Ashley’s Second Bloom Ball spilled over into Episode 2.
So, when the ladies reconvened later at newbie Angel Massie’s home for a “Truth & Tranquilitea Party,” Stacey came prepared with receipts, in an attempt to put all the chatter to rest.
“I’ve been praying about us a lot — you questioning my divorce and other things about my character,” Stacey told Ashley, before encouraging her to take a look at the legal “notification” that she said she and Thiemo had received from the court.

She continued, “The reason that I didn’t show this to you at your ball is because it wasn’t the time or the place, and I didn’t have a chance to speak to my husband about showing a document that is so sensitive and serious.”
To drive home the point of her relationship status with Thiemo, Stacey plainly stated, “We are divorced, and we are getting back together.”

Aside from the fact she couldn’t locate a record of Stacey and Thiemo’s divorce in any public databases, Ashley also questioned the timeline of the exes getting back together, mentioning her breakup with Thomas Anthony “TJ” Jones.
“As far as I know, back in January, Stacey was with old boy TJ. And then, here we are, three months have passed, you have magically gotten back together with your ex-husband?” Ashley elaborated in a confessional on RHOP‘s Oct. 12 episode. “The math is not mathing.”
For context, Stacey previously shared with viewers that she and Thiemo decided to get back together during a family Christmas vacation to Mexico with their 9-year-old daughter, Arabella, after receiving notification they were “officially divorced” during the getaway.

Regardless, Ashley told Stacey that the “big” evidence she offered was all she needed to move on from that specific issue.
Gizelle, on the other hand, was unmoved and doubted the authenticity of Stacey’s receipts, mentioning that there was “no seal” on the documents.
“I am divorced. I know what mine looks like. Mine looks like everybody else’s. It is stamped. It is notarized,” she told a producer. “Stacey went to an app and made this.”
As Gizelle added to new ‘Wife Tia Glover, “It’s not official, but it’s fine. We can move on. I’m bored with it.”

Prior to Angel’s wellness-themed get-together, Stacey sat down with Wendy Osefo to unpack some of the drama between her and Ashley, including allegations that she paid TJ to film RHOP.
After recapping how Ashley claimed an unnamed actress had allegedly shown her and Gizelle “legal documents” that indicated TJ was “suing” her, Stacey continued, “I don’t know what to say to that. I can’t defend myself against things that I don’t even know what you’re talking about. … A lot has happened since then.”
Her latter statement, coupled with the diamond ring she spotted on Stacey’s finger, led Wendy to immediately ask if she was engaged.
“I’m back with my husband,” Stacey revealed. “We are not getting married next week; we are trying to work this out. There are a lot of things that are being said about me that are lies.”
