Zack Wickham’s facial expressions have already provided a plethora of meme-able reaction shots from The Valley‘s Season 2 reunion, but when he began articulating his viewpoints in a previously unseen moment on Part 2 — which is now available to watch as part of Peacock’s extended and uncensored version of the reunion episode — Jax Taylor quickly shut him down.

The moment came as the group continued to discuss Jax and Brittany Cartwright’s messy divorce.

Zack’s commentary began subtly, as he quietly made shady side comments to Jasmine Goode about Jax, including accusations that he’s a “narcissist,” as evidenced by the fact that he referred to 4-year-old Cruz only as his “son,” rather than by name. Before long, though, he spoke up to take on Jax directly.

“Every time something good’s happening in Brittany’s life…” Zack began, before Jax cut him off to say, “I don’t really need anything from you. … Peanut gallery, shut up.”

Host Andy Cohen intervened to point out that Zack is Brittany’s “old friend,” adding that he wanted to hear what he had to say. Still, Jax protested, referring to his castmate as a “chimer” who only tries to “poke” at him, and inserted a quick jab about Zack’s “Lego” hair.

With some encouragement from Andy and Brittany, though, Zack continued, “Every time that there’s something good going on in Brittany’s life, that’s when he intentionally starts a fight with her.”

Jax Taylor explains why he starts “fights” with Brittany Cartwright

On the subject of their “fights,” Brittany alleged that Jax still instigates arguments with her “every other day,” adding, “And then you try to flip it and act like I was the one that did something wrong.”

Jax, for his part, confirmed Brittany’s accusation and attempted to unpack his POV. “I start these fights because there’s days where I’m like, ‘Yes, we should get divorced because we are toxic,'” he explained. “But then there’s days where, you know, we’ll be getting along, and I’m like, ‘Is this the right f–kin’ move?’ And I’ll even text her. I’ll be like…”

That’s when Brittany jumped in to interject, “Yeah, and you know how hard that is on me? You know how much that messes with my mind? It’s awful.”

Even so, Jax continued, “I’m confused. I know we’re not good together. I know that. But it’s still f–king hard. I’m a human being. I had 10 years with this woman.”

That prompted Zack to, once again, utter under his breath, “That you threw away…”

Andy Cohen weighs in on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright’s issues

After the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host pointed out “how creepy it is” that Jax was allegedly watching Brittany on their home security cameras from rehab, he cited his need for control.

Jax also took accountability for the “serious, deep-rooted” issues that still lead him to self-sabotage, naming off his “narcissistic behavior” and “manipulation.”

Referencing Jax’s past Vanderpump Rules reunion appearances, Andy noted, “I’ve sat here with him where he’s been confronted by horrible behavior, [and] he has taken more accountability today than I’ve heard him take.”

Brittany, meanwhile, feared that his taking accountability was “performative” and said she didn’t trust that he wouldn’t be “rage-texting” and “screaming at” her again within two days.

So, Andy offered Jax some friendly advice: “If what you’re saying is that control is a huge issue for you and you want control, you have control. Because the more you take control of your actions, the more your life with her and everybody else here is gonna get better.”

As you await the third and final part of the Season 2 reunion, find out what’s next for Jax after leaving The Valley.
