Below Deck Down Under stews Jenna Woudberg and Alesia Harris faced off over drama involving Eddy Hounsell on the Below Deck Down Under After Show.
Jenna began by expressing her disappointment that Eddy “went off to have this massive chat with Alesia” during the crew’s night off in Canouan in Season 4, Episode 10, instead of trying to “get to know [her] a little bit more throughout the night,” amid their already rocky boatmance.
Alesia, meanwhile, opined, “I don’t even think, deep down, he wanted to,” before adding, “I don’t think you’re compatible, and you’re not compatible.”

Though in hindsight, Jenna agreed about her and Eddy’s lack of romantic compatibility, she asked Alesia, “Who are you to tell him who he can pursue or not?”
After beginning to state her defense, Alesia backtracked and admitted wrongdoing. “Actually, first of all, it wasn’t right. I shouldn’t have said anything,” she conceded. “It had nothing to do with me. And, yeah, I should know my place by now. Like, [there’s] no point interfering.”

Though Alesia and Eddy had flirted heavily at the beginning of the charter season, she eventually revealed that she had a boyfriend back home. On the heels of her After Show mea culpa, she went on to explain why she had pulled Eddy onto the dance floor and told him that he and Jenna would “never work” as a couple in Below Deck Down Under‘s April 6 episode.
“I can see how his mind is working right now and the way he’s talking about you,” Alesia reasoned to Jenna. “I’m just like, this is gonna end so badly. Like, he is already, like, imagining your future together.”
Likening Jenna and Eddy’s fling to a “car crash” she couldn’t look away from, Alesia continued, “I just know it’s gonna end terribly. But it’s not up for me to make that assumption. But I just… You guys couldn’t be more different if, like, if you put yourselves at polar opposites of the spectrum.”

Still, Jenna countered that she was willing to overlook her and Eddy’s differences in order to simply “have a boat romance or a flirt.”Â
“But I was like, we’re hearing whispers from every direction,” she added. “I think maybe I would’ve treated our relationship a little bit differently if I had a solid chance to actually build something with Eddy without everybody interfering into it.”
In conclusion, Alesia deemed Jenna’s point as being “so fair,” telling her, “You never know. Opposites sometimes do attract.”
Eddy Hounsell opens up about his conflict with Jenna Woudberg
By the end of the crew’s night out in Canouan in Episode 10, Jenna and Eddy were both in tears. However, the two had hashed things out by the next morning, and Jenna told him they could “try again.” In a separate After Show setup, Eddy also weighed in on all the drama.
“Jenna, I knew would get pissed off with me being pulled away, taking time to be spending with her,” he reflected, referencing his and Alesia’s one-on-one time at the bar. “And what was the most annoying thing is the reality was I sat there and fought Jenna’s ground the entire time. And I think any normal person, if they knew that, would [have] actually just went, ‘What was that conversation about?’ And when they hear that, [said,] ‘That was really nice.’ She just went straight to defensive-mode Jenna.”
As for their compatibility, Eddy underscored the facts that he and Jenna “both found each other attractive,” in addition to their shared “familiarity.” He ultimately declared those points to be “grounds for definitely liking someone and a match.”
Either way, the deckhand still could not see where he was at fault in the situation, despite acknowledging that he had “upset” Jenna at the time.
“I knew I hadn’t done anything wrong,” Eddy insisted. “Like, aside from that text message which I’d originally sent [to Alesia], from then, I hadn’t done anything wrong. … And that is my stance, and I hold very fast to that. I had not done anything wrong towards her since, especially intentionally.”
