Jesse McBee and Alli Ventresca couldn’t decide where they wanted to live on Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys, but it turns out that the newlyweds and first-time parents have since settled the debate.
They cleared the air in an exclusive interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish, stating: “We are splitting our time between our two homes, but just doing it together.”
Of course, audiences will recall the couple fretting where they would live once they said “I do.” It came down to Jesse’s home near his family’s McBee Farm & Cattle business in Gallatin, Missouri, and a home in Kansas City, closer to where Alli works as a nurse practitioner, some 70 miles away. Such conversations came even before the April 17 birth of their daughter, Summer Leigh McBee.
As the new Mrs. McBee explained in her recent sit-down, “We will stay up at the farm on most weekends and sometimes during the week when I have a day off, and then stay in our city house the other days. We have found this just works best with our schedules and with the baby now.”
How Jesse McBee and Alli decided where they wanted to live
During a recent visit with Bravo HQ, Jesse confessed that Alli “won that battle” when it came to where to live. He called it a “happy medium” and touched on the conveniences of staying in the city: “My mom [Kristi McBee] lives in the city, [Alli’s] parents live in the city, so as far as babysitting Summer, it makes life a lot easier when it comes to that.”

Video calls in the morning were the norm before husband and wife settled into a postnuptial routine, as seen on the series, and the back and forth over their living situation was almost a dealbreaker for the high school sweethearts ahead of their big day.
“We don’t even know where we’re gonna live after the wedding,” Jesse told his fiancée at the time. “That is something that really needs to be figured out.”
Earlier on Season 2, Jesse also admitted, “As much as I hate to say this, if we’re not gonna be able to live together, I don’t see how we don’t at least postpone the wedding if not cancel it overall.”
Of course, the wedding carried on as planned — minus Galyna Saltkovska’s shocking arrest — and Summer can now have the best of both worlds, between the city and the farm.
Jesse McBee and Alli discuss welcoming their first child
Only four months after Cole McBee and Kacie Adkison welcomed their daughter, Blair Collins McBee, Jesse and Alli announced Summer’s birth — a surprise to audiences as they kept a tight lid on the news.
In fact, according to Jesse in an interview with Us Weekly, they found out Alli was expecting just before their fairy tale wedding took center stage in the September 1 finale, which had only compounded his anxieties.

“I think it was just pent-up anxiety from, obviously the wedding, the years of us dating — and what a lot of people don’t know is that we had just found out that we were having a [baby] girl,” he said. “We didn’t tell anybody [in] the camera crew, [or] really any of our family at all. So, it was all of that just kind of came to a head. And I had to let it out somehow.”
During his Bravo HQ interview, Jesse touched on the first few “whirlwind” weeks of fatherhood, summing up his experiences as Summer’s dad as “amazing.” He added, “Now she’s kind of getting her own personality and kind of recognizing things, so I think this is my favorite part.”
