Jodi Arias stabs her boyfriend, Travis Alexander, 28 times, shoots him and leaves him to die in a shower.

In 2025, she remains in jail, serving a life sentence for murder.  Currently held at the Arizona State Prison Complex – Perryville, Arias is appealing her conviction, alleging prosecutorial misconduct and a biased atmosphere during the trial.

[Feature Photo: FILE – In this April 13, 2015, file photo, Jodi Arias, left, looks on next to her attorney, Jennifer Willmott, during her sentencing in Maricopa County Superior Court in Phoenix. A sizable portion of the trial that sent Arias to prison for life in the 2008 death of her former boyfriend was shrouded in secrecy. Now, Arias is seeking more secrecy: Her lawyers asked the Arizona Court of Appeals on Friday, May 11, 2018, to bar the public from having access to the opening brief in her appeal.
