Joe Giudice Addresses His Future After Getting Gia Giudice’s Support

As a competitive boxer, Joe Giudice understands that not every match will result in a knockout victory. You win some, you lose some, but the most important thing is to always keep trying.

How to Watch

Joe offered the motivational reminder on Monday, September 29, just days after returning to the ring in Mexico. The pay-per-view boxing event, aptly dubbed the Battle of the Italian Stallions, saw Joe go head-to-head with actor Antonio Sabato Jr. Although The Real Housewives of New Jersey dad was ultimately defeated, he was grateful for all the support he received throughout the journey — especially from his eldest daughter, Gia Giudice, who traveled all the way to Mexico to cheer on her pops.

“Fought my heart out Saturday against Antonio,” he captioned the Instagram. “Win or lose, I left it all in the ring. What mattered most was having my daughter Gia there with me — means the world to know she’s always got my back. Love you kid. Thanks to everyone who showed support, I’ll keep pushing no matter what.”

Antonio, being the class act that he is, shared a few kind words for Joe in the comments section.

“Thank you pal for the opportunity,” he wrote. “Go and have a safe flight back home and all the best to the family and wonderful daughter of yours.”

The Instagram has since received more than 3,000 “likes” and dozens of comments, including one from Joe’s ex-wife, Teresa Giudice. The RHONJ mom left a series of red heart emojis, underscoring just how far they’ve come since their 2019 split.

Ahead of Joe’s big fight, Gia chopped it with TMZ Sports, revealing she was the only Giudice daughter who attended the match.

“Listen, I support him with everything that he does,” the Next Gen NYC cast member said. “It’s definitely nerve-wracking. I have a trip after this that I’m going to straight from here, but I delayed it a little bit because I had to be here for the fight. He’s here by himself, so I wanted him to have at least one person here with him.”

Joe Giduice’s New Life in the Bahamas

Joe is now back in the Bahamas, where he has lived full-time since 2021. The father of four was deported back to Italy nearly six years ago, but decided to move to the Caribbean to be closer to his daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana Giudice. He spoke about his relocation during a January appearance on Teresa’s former podcast, Turning the Tables.

“Well, I mean, you got friends, family. I mean, everything,” he said about the challenges of leaving the U.S. “You grow up someplace, you get used to everything. I mean, that’s why I adapt[ed] here in the Bahamas, Nassau, because it’s kind of like Americanized, and I always see American people here. So, I kind of feel like I’m close to home. When I was in Italy, it wasn’t really the same. It was nice, but it just felt far. Like, here, it’s close. It’s only two-and-a-half hours away, and I guess because everybody comes and visits me, I don’t feel like I’m too far.”
