Joe Giudice is still on good terms with his ex-wife, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, to this day.
Although the exes have moved on with different people since their 2020 divorce, Joe still thinks very fondly of his ex, who he shares four daughters with. In fact, he recently appeared on his oldest daughter Gia Giudice’s podcast, where he was asked a “joke question” about his future with Teresa.
“Knock on wood, if mom and Luis [Ruelas] ever broke up, would you and mom ever consider getting back together?” the Next Gen NYC cast member asked Joe, who currently lives in the Bahamas.
“Well, listen, I’ll always be your mom’s friend, no matter what,” Joe replied. “You know what I mean? So it doesn’t matter. I mean, I’ll always be the same with her no matter what.”
That said, Joe also admitted that he doesn’t know what the future holds for his relationship with Teresa. “I mean, listen, you can never say never,” he continued. “I mean, maybe if we’re still alive when we’re 90, I don’t know, we’ll see. I mean, in life, you never know, but right now, I’m happy.”
Is Joe Giudice dating anyone?
Yes, Joe is in a relationship with a “sweet” woman named Margie. During the podcast episode, Gia revealed that her and her sisters “love” her. “Margie’s amazing,” Gia noted.
During an appearance on Kelly Ripa’s podcast last year, Teresa revealed that she had met Margie while on vacation in the Bahamas with her daughters. “We had a great time,” she said of their meeting. “We all hung out and it was totally fine.”

Joe also shared that he has no ill will towards Teresa’s husband, with whom she just celebrated her third wedding anniversary with this month. “He’s a good guy,” Joe told Gia.

“As long as he treats you guys right, you know, treats your mom right, that’s all that matters,” he added.
Teresa Giudice reveals where she stands with Joe Giudice today
Teresa took to her own podcast, Turning the Tables with Teresa Giudice, on Dec. 31, where she admitted that she paid Joe’s taxes “in full” in 2023. “He’s done now,” she explained. “And then he was telling me, ‘Don’t pay them.’ I’m like, ‘Oh yeah.’ He’s like, ‘Why are you paying them? I left the country. I’m not even there. You don’t have to pay them.’ And I’m like, ‘I do have to pay them because we were married.'”
She continued, noting that she was “sure” that Joe was grateful for this. “He’s not that mushy type,” she added. “[But] he sent me something on Instagram, he’s like, ‘Just want you to know you’re the best mom ever.’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, you should put that out there in writing.’ I know I am. I don’t need him to tell me. My kids know it, that’s all that matters.”
