Since leaving the United States in 2021, Joe Giudice has built an extensive and pretty diverse resume. He founded a luxury yacht company, released an eponymous merch collection, and has even dabbled in the world of celebrity boxing. Although he has had success in a wide range of fields, the Real Housewives of New Jersey dad said he’s ready to return to what he truly loves: construction.
Joe Giudice teases a career pivot: “A lot of things in the works”
Joe shared the life update during his recent appearance on Casual Chaos, a podcast interview series hosted by his oldest daughter, Gia Giudice of Next Gen NYC.
“I am working on construction. I’m getting a lot of things in the works with construction,” he said in the August 18 broadcast. “And I’m just waiting on a couple of big things to come through, and hopefully they come through so I can get back into the real estate [business].”

“I would love to get back into the real estate game out here because that’s what I love doing. And I mean, the real estate out here is very good,” he said. “I could definitely see myself getting back into it out here, for sure. And even if I’m allowed back over there (the United States), I’ll definitely be here working with real estate… You know what I mean?
“It’s not an easy way to live out here,” he continued, “but once you get into it… it takes a few years to get everything down and gathered, but once you’re in there and you’re doing it right, you can make money.”
Joe Giudice reflects on his decision to relocate to the Bahamas
Joe made his Bravo debut in RHONJ Season 1, which shed light on his career as a freelance contractor specializing in house flips. The Italian national, who was married to Teresa Giudice at the time, was deported to Italy in 2019 and relocated to Nassau, Bahamas, a couple of years later. He and Teresa finalized their divorce in 2020.

Despite being born in Italy and having relatives there, the father of four said he was much more comfortable in the Bahamas because of its proximity to the U.S. He explained his position during his January 29 appearance on Teresa’s Turning the Tables podcast.
“You grow up someplace, you get used to everything,” he told his ex-wife. “I mean, that’s why I adapt[ed] here in the Bahamas, Nassau, because it’s kind of like Americanized, and I always see American people here. So, I kind of feel like I’m close to home. When I was in Italy, it wasn’t really the same. It was nice, but it just felt far. Like, here, it’s close. It’s only two-and-a-half hours away, and I guess because everybody comes and visits me, I don’t feel like I’m too far.”
