Joe Gorga & Teresa Giudice Reveal More on Christmas Plans

Family time can be one of the most wonderful things about the holiday season, and for The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Giudice and Gorga families, Christmas Eve will be extra special.

Joe Gorga confirmed in a recent interview with Extra that he and his brood will be spending Christmas Eve with his sister, Teresa Giudice, and her family. “Thank God,” he said with his wife, Melissa Gorga, and daughter, Antonia Gorga, by his side. “It’s going great,” ever since the two families set aside their differences at BravoCon 2025. “It’s going really good. Yeah. Spending Christmas Eve with them. Oh, yeah, so everything’s good.”

Melissa said it would be a great way to join their loved ones, including sons Gino and Joey Jr., plus Teresa’s daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana Giudice. Teresa’s husband, Luis “Louie” Ruelas, is also expected to be there.

“Moving forward, everything’s great. Just kind of how it should have always been, to be honest,” Melissa added. “I don’t know how it got to where it got, but thank God we’re moving on because life is short.”

Melissa Gorga shares details about a Christmas Eve reunion

Melissa confirmed to be hosting Christmas Eve with the families when sitting as a guest on the Dec. 7 episode of Peacock’s Sunday Night Football: Reality Hot Seat.

Yes, we will at my house. It’s a Christmas miracle,” she revealed. “We need this time in this healing moment… I’m hosting Christmas Eve at my house. We do the seven fishes.”

The Italian-American holiday feast has been a tradition in both families for years. As Teresa once said, “As Italians, Christmas Eve is very big to us. It’s called the seven fishes, but we never count the fishes; we just make all fish: Baccala, clams, mussels, pasta with seafood, fried calamari.”

In 2020 — before a years-long rift between the Giudices and Gorgas — it became a friendly war over Teresa’s famous pignoli cookies and Melissa’s sprinkle cookies, the latter of which helped grow into Melissa’s thriving Let’s Sprinkle by MG cookie business founded in 2024.

Gia Giudice and Melissa Gorga share their plans for 2026

Teresa’s eldest, Gia of Next Gen NYC, revealed during a Dec. 8 Amazon Live stream that she had no plans to visit her father, Joe Giudice, in The Bahamas, at least not on this side of the New Year. She said, “Honestly, work has just been really crazy. I am planning to visit him in January, once work slows down a little bit.”

For the holidays, she planned on “kinda laying low.”

Work-related matters were also part of her aunt Melissa’s New Year’s plans, too. In a recent interview with The Daily Dish, the “On Display” singer said, “New Year’s resolution for me, every year I always say this for me, it’s just about leveling up business-wise. For me, I always give myself a goal, and I hit it, usually of just how I can build the business a little bigger, how I can level it up a little bit. So that’s what I do.”

Meanwhile, both sides of the family hold hope, following their BravoCon reunion, that bonds will continue to strengthen. Because, as Teresa said at the Las Vegas event, family is “the most important thing.”

See the families raise a festive toast ahead of their Christmas Eve celebrations.
