Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker Share Career Updates (AUGUST 2025)

Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker truly are a power couple.

In the 11-plus years since exchanging “I do’s,” Kandi and Todd have established a business partnership that covers everything from restaurants and podcasting to movie and film production. While their ventures have earned both critical and commercial success, the longtime spouses have refused to rest on their laurels and continue to make waves in the entertainment biz.

Kandi Burruss to celebrate her debut solo album

Kandi shared another career milestone on August 26, when she announced an anniversary event for Hey Kandi…, her 2000 debut solo album that delivered hits like “Don’t Think I’m Not” and “Cheatin’ on Me.”

“It’s time to celebrate! My first album is turning 25 next month & Im doing a concert/party to celebrate,” she captioned an in-studio Instagram Reel. “As we celebrate the 2000’s era, I’ll be performing live, [The DJ AONE] & I will keep the party going, special guest will be popping up, & everyone will be rocking their 2000’s look! It’s gonna be [flame emojis].”

Hi Kandi… was released on September 19, 2000, through Columbia Records. The anniversary party will go down on September 21 at Buckhead Theatre, where attendees will enjoy live music and some of the biggest hits from the aughties.

Several days after announcing the Hi Kandi… party, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum headed to Tara Theater for the premiere of Don’t Bring Your Man to Atlanta — a romantic thriller she and Todd co-produced. The film stars RHOA’s Shamea Morton, Michael Simone, Mikhail Keize, and Michael Bolwaire, aka “Bolo.” Yes, that Bolo.

Kandi shared a peek at the premiere night in an August 25 Instagram post in which she showed off her amazing red carpet look.

“Main character energy only,” she captioned the carousel. “Last night was a movie at the movies!!!”

Todd promoted Don’t Bring Your Man to Atlanta on August 15, sharing a little teaser of his acting chops.

“Oh shit! Your boy acting lol!” he wrote. “Just a small cameo!”

Todd Tucker teases The Pass 2: “They said it was a risk…”

Don’t Bring Your Man to Atlanta was the second feature film Kandi and Todd co-produced… but it wasn’t their last. On August 20, Todd confirmed the release of The Pass 2, the follow-up to their 2023 steamy drama starring RHOA’s Drew Sidora. The sequel will be released under Kandi Koated Entertainment, T Tucker Productions, and Sharon’s Son Productions.

“They said it was a risk going Independent!” Todd captioned The Pass 2 teaser. “I always bet on myself and haven’t lost yet… It was Gods Plan. Amen!”
