Kansas City Chiefs Fan Found Frozen to Death was Seated in Lawn Chair, Brother Says – Crime Online

One of the deceased Kansas City Chiefs fans discovered in the backyard of an HIV scientist’s residence was found in a seated position on a back porch chair, not lying flat, according to statements from the brother of one of the victims.

News Nation reports that Jonathan Price expressed frustration with law enforcement, accusing them of failing to provide answers to families, after they found his brother, Ricky Johnson, 38, alongside David Harrington, 37, and Clayton McGeeney, 36, deceased on January 9.

“As a brother, I’m looking at everything,” Price told Chris Cuomo on Monday, adding that Johnson was “found on a lawn chair on the back porch, rather than all three laying flat, which paints a picture we didn’t have from the very beginning.”

Law enforcement, in earlier statements, indicated that they did not suspect foul play in the deaths. The bodies of all three were discovered in the backyard of friend Jordan Willis’ home in Kansas City, two days after they gathered to watch a game between the Chiefs and the Los Angeles Chargers.

Willis, who isn’t currently facing charges, is said to be cooperating with investigators, The Messenger reports. He reportedly said his friends froze to death while he was sleeping, unaware they were still outside.

When asked whether drugs played a part in the deaths, the Kansas City Police Department declined to comment, aside from saying it “remains part of an ongoing investigation.”

Toxicology results are pending. Check back for updates.
