The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member is no stranger to people talking about her or coming up with their own conclusions about her life. But the mom of four recently told The Daily Dish that she is working on a major project that will have her setting the record straight on everything.
“I am in the process of finishing a book that I am writing,” she explained, admitting that the idea was “born” during the RHOC Season 18 reunion. “So, I thought, you know, it’s better if it comes from my mouth, what happened in my past and my growth and growing up. So, I’m writing a book.”
Katie admitted that she is “hopeful” that the book will come out “next year.” But, the former golf reporter is aware that “it’s a long process.”
She continued, revealing that she has been “writing letters” to her daughter Kaili throughout her life. “It’s like, don’t date this type of guy, be this kind of girl, do this, you know, this is how your biological father and I met. This is why it failed,” she explained. “And I’ve been writing her letters, so it’s a book about those letters.”
What will Katie Ginella address in her book?
Katie admitted that her book will get into all of the details about her life. It will be “diving kind of into how I grew up, my relationship with my ex-husband, meeting my husband, having kids, growth, all of those things,” she told The Daily Dish.

Katie’s husband, Matt Ginella, has also been very hard at work as a professional golf journalist, “travel insider, and storyteller.”
“Matt’s really busy with work,” she noted. “He’s been traveling pretty much for the last eight weeks for work. So he’s pretty busy.”

Matt even traveled with Kaili to a father-daughter golf tournament, where they played at Rosapenna Resort in Ireland. “That’s really special,” she noted.
And things are still going strong with her and Matt, as she told The Daily Dish with a laugh that she’s “still married to the same person.”
“We’re great,” she noted.
