A Kentucky woman was found dead in a fish and wildlife area in Indiana, and investigators are looking at a person of interest in her death.
But Henderson, Kentucky, officials haven’t said if they’re looking at a murder investigation.
The body was found Sunday in Indiana’s Blue Grass Fight and Wildlife Area, a few miles north of the Kentucky state line. She was ultimately identified as Kristina Robison, 35, and investigators determined that she was killed in Henderson, Kentucky — a few miles south of the Indiana state line — and her body dumped in the popular fishing area.
Henderson police said a person of interest was identified who “became startled and took Ms. Robison to Bluegrass [sic] Fish and Wildlife area and left her.”
That man, whose name has not been released, was arrested on unrelated drug charges and outstanding warrants. He is currently behind bars in Knox County, Indiana.
Officials say they are also awaiting a toxicology report “to determine the official cause of death.”
