Kim Kardashian is finally addressing where she stands with Larsa Pippen today. The Real Housewives of Miami mom and Kim have so much history, and Kim is now opening up about what led to the distance in their relationship.
Kim appeared on her little sister, Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Khloé in Wonderland, on Jan. 28, where she revealed that there is no bad blood between her and Larsa. “I love Larsa,” she said. “You know, I love her kids.”
She continued, noting that her relationship with ex-husband Kanye West and Larsa’s divorce from Scottie Pippen caused some distance between them. “I think that was a transition when, I think she was going through a divorce, and Kanye and I were, you know, having some issues, and it just kind of…distanced ourselves for a little bit,” Kim added.
Kim, who is Larsa’s daughter Sophia Pippen’s godmother, admitted that she still loves Larsa and her kids. “And she moved to Miami, but I like, love her,” she noted. “Our kids go to school together. We’ll always have so many memories and so much love there.”
But, Kim admitted that she has never seen Larsa on an episode of RHOM, let alone any episodes from the franchise. “Do you know I’ve never seen a Housewives?” she asked Khloé.

Larsa shared her thoughts on the friendship shift during a July 2025 appearance on The Jason Lee Show, admitting that she is OK with the fact that she’s not as close with Kim, with whom she has been friends since the early 2000’s. But, she revealed that Sophia still has a good relationship with Kim. “I feel like Sophia still has a good relationship with Kim,” she said on the podcast, noting that Sophia “hangs out” with the Kardashians. “They’re loving to her, so I feel like I don’t want to tarnish that. It’s fine.”

During an episode of RHOMÂ Season 4, which aired in 2022, Larsa offered her point-of-view on the dissolution of their friendship. She admitted that Kim’s divorce from Kanye in 2021 made things complicated between them, as she found herself in the “middle” of it.
“I was best friends with Kim, and I love her, and I love Kanye, and I just was the person that was stuck in the middle,” Larsa explained during the episode at the time. “I was the friend that was basically there and saw everything. And that was the demise of our friendship. I knew too much, I was a problem, and so, whatever. That’s kind of what happened.”
